Excellent choice and truly some of the best food we’ve ever had! We ordered the duck crepes, blue crab spaghetti, duck gumbo, and the filet topped with brown meunière — every single dish was incredible. The Augustine Old Fashioned was perfect, too.
The cozy ambiance, the amazing food, and the delicious drinks made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommended! And a huge shout-out to Jason, our bartender, who was absolutely fantastic!

I hope everyone supports this restaurant and keeps it open, because this really is becoming one of the top 5 best dining experiences in SWLA. The ambience makes you feel like you’re in an upscale jazz bar, it’s unlike anything else we have here in LC. The lighting is dim and ambient, there were tasteful, beautiful christmas decorations, and Christmas music playing at just the right volume. They know how to set the atmosphere! The service was 10/10. Cory, our waiter, was attentive and knew exactly what to recommend to us. Out drinks were always filled and everything came out promptly, despite the restaurant being full. Lastly, the food. I had the truffle fries, charcuterie board, and a layered chocolate cake dessert. I’m usually skeptical of a restaurant’s chocolate dessert but this one actually tasted homemade- chocolate mousse, ganache and homemade whipped cream layered with a moist rich chocolate cake. If it wasn’t completely homemade, I’d be surprised. It was incredible! Please patronize and support this business, they really deserve it!

What an experience we arrived for a 7:30 reservation and I hope I can successfully express how lovely of an experience this was. A candle lit vibe, as the sun set the staff opened up the beautiful velvet curtains to let in the romantic sunset ambiance. I enjoyed a raspberry drop martini, which was refreshing and absolutely delicious, beautifully garnished with a fresh sprig of rosemary. The server was so sweet, so attentive especially once made aware of dietary restrictions, you can tell that the staff here takes pride. Absolutely order the caprese salad, it was the most perfect way to start our meal. A mixture of both fresh red tomatoes and crunchy green tomatoes topped with burrata cheese and a balsamic glaze, I was blown away, it took everything in me not to lick my plate I enjoyed the eggplant which was so perfectly fried and accompanied by an array of Mediterranean flavors, my husband had the duck, which he said was beautifully seasoned, tender, juicy, and the potatoes and sauce complimented so well. We shared a side of ratatouille and I will most definitely be ordering this item again next time. The flavor was spot on, I could have easily eaten a whole plate my self and called it a meal. We enjoyed a beautiful creme brulee and a sort of lemon trifle for dessert, both loaded with fresh fruit I felt just so spoiled. This was overall just so lovely. Even the owner took the time to visit our table while we dined. This establishment has limited dining, feels exclusive and special I’ll be hunting for excuse to have my husband treat me here again

We hosted a customer lunch here in the upstairs “boardroom” – included a projector and drop-down screen – we had about 20 people attend and everything worked out great. Food was wonderful. I did not have the cheesecake dessert but everyone was raving about it. Lobster roll was good.

The speakeasy/Big Easy atmosphere made me feel like I was in NOLA, if not for the beautiful view of our Court Houses. The service was exceptional. Corey was our waiter, he was very knowledgeable and attentive. Everything we tasted was incredible. From the Lobster French Toast, Crab Spaghetti, Fish Augustine, Crab Cakes, Filet, Duck, Truffle Frites(so good) and the Caprese Salad was huge. We had the chance to eat here last night and it was awesome. From the location, decor, service, drinks, and food. We started the beef carpaccio and a charcuterie board along with some delicious mixed drinks (Fig sazerac and a gin drink-can’t recall the name). We then had a Caesar Salad and a garden salad topped with shrimp, then for the entrees we had the duck (very tasty) , a filet with the cognac reduction sauce (butterknife tender) and the mushroom ravioli (mmmmm). For dessert we had the Donut bread pudding……,mmmmmmm. Check it out!

There were three of us for the Friday night 6:45 reservation. The physical space is very chic, darkly sophisticated, with views of the downtown Court House. The bar and wine list seemed exceptional. Service was friendly but very efficient and knowledgeable. We tried two appetizers, the crabcakes and the stuffed Rockefeller mushrooms. Both were wonderfully flavored and distinct. The rich dark duck gumbo was smoky and full-flavored. The entrees were beautifully presented and toothsome. The only odd note, and this is so picky, is that this “white tablecloth restaurant” doesn’t use tablecloths. Frankly, this site is the equal to many high end
places in New Orleans and deserves the napery!
