Top flight mexican-american restaurant. Super friendly staff. Super fresh and authentic flavors. A must experience. Fantastic food.

Me and the family went to Salsas last night and the food was off the chain probably the best restaurant Mexican food I’ve ever had! I had the Pollo Santa Fe and the wife had the Diablo shrimp and my son had a quesadilla. The service was absolutely amazing the server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled and salsa and chips on the table. I live 13 miles from the place on the south end of Saint Augustine and I will definitely drive past all the other restaurants to eat here again! Thank you Salsas servers, management, and kitchen staff for the best experience I’ve ever had. See you soon!

Loved it. First bite was a religious experience. I order a chicken super burrito. I’d drive all the way from Jacksonville just to have another one of these.

Food and service are great. This new 4% fee for using credit cards is BS. They try to pitch it as a cash discount, like we are to dumb to figure it out. Credit cards are a cost of doing business, suck it up Salsa’s.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. First our drink order was wrong and the drinks so strong they tasted horrible. Next the food came out. The taco meat was rotten and my fajitas were ALL ONION! We talked to the manager twice and he gave us a 10% discount and said he didn’t care if we didn’t come back. No worries I won’t waste another penny in a restaurant where the owner is taking more concerned with taking shots with patrons and getting drunk vs serving quality food to customers

I have been here at least 7 times in the last year and have always experienced really good service. They really do a nice job of making patrons feel special for birthday occasions. The prices are not bad at all for what you get.
The tortilla chips come out warm and they refill them frequently.
The fajita plate is delicious and the steak plate is a great choice too. The taco salad with added shrimp is very filling.

ya not bad for a hole in the wall Mex place in the middle of burbia. The burrito wet is really good, and the taco salad is pretty decent. i wouldn’t say it’s authentic Mexican, but it’s pretty deng good for the area.
this is def a solid 3 stars – pretty closely compared to Cantina Louie down the street and Anejo in Nocatee about 10 mins away. regardless, it’s a decent place for lunch or a mexican craving after playing golf all day – which is what we had 😉

This has got to be by far the best “Carne Asada plate” I’ve had ever since I’ve moved here to St. Augustine eight years ago.
The meat was super tender, and seasoned perfectly right!. I am definitely coming back to this place and most important, I recommend this restaurant.

Wife and I went for dinner. She ordered a ribeye steak dinner. When we got the order we knew it was just a flank steak. It also smelled horrible. Rotten meat. The waitress smelled and she agreed it smelled awful. She went to the back and returned and told us it smelled that way because
She ordered it medium rare. Whatever. We will never go back there. They were also written up recently for having rotting meat and unsanitary conditions. Please do not go there. There are a lot of good Mexican restaurants in St. Augustine but this isn’t one of them.

Very nice place and they really went for broke on making the interior amazing. Beautiful murals and hand-carved wood artwork everywhere on the backs of seats and booths. Worth a visit just for that. Food is great. Prices are okay. I’m very glad they are there!
