This was a suggested spot by people we met while visiting Scott’s Head, Dominica. We were not disappointed! The picture shows things nearer the end of the meal and wish we had a “before” picture. We ordered fried chicken, pork chops, and many sides including curried bananas, black beans with coconut, fries, basmati rice, and macaroni & cheese. Everything was good.
Our group also had a few beers and rum punch which also was very good.
The only reason I put service at a 4 was because they only had one server who also had to cover the bar and so she was very busy. But she was also personable and helpful when we needed things.
Prices were in Caribbean so with our USD we were able to eat lunch for under $20 each. Sit out on the balcony, watch the ocean waves, and just enjoy the time you get to spend in this beautiful corner of the country.
Plus the bathroom is free for customers! (Non-customers have to pay $2).

Great location, near the beach, enjoying your meal as the water hits the shore. Fisherman doing their thing. Warm and friendly staff. The creole meal was delicious, tasty and loved the coconut rice and dasheen.

We ate at Chez Wen at the recommendation on a local and it did not disappoint. Located directly on the water, the location is perfect when visiting Champagne Beach and Scotts Head. The food and drinks were great and service was good as well. I would highly recommend eating here if visiting this area of Dominica!

After spending the morning at Scotts Head Point, I stopped at Chez Wen Cuisine, I ordered the lobster in coconut cream sauce with basmati carrot rice, stewed red beans, and salad, and it was phenomenal. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor.
The lady who served me was welcoming. The prices were a bit high in my opinion but the restaurant sits right on the ocean, so you can enjoy amazing views while you eat — it doesn’t get much better than that!
If you’re exploring the south end of Dominica, definitely make time to stop at Chez Wen Cuisine. Great food, friendly service, and unbeatable views.

Ate lunch here after short hike and snorkeling at Scott’s head. The grilled Tuna with salad and fried dashine was excellent and the casual beach atmosphere with a Kabuli beer staring out at the water was priceless. Service was good.

We tried the chicken wings, the spare ribs and the Tuna.
The Sides of fries and wedges were cooked to perfection… and the kids enjoyed the baked spaghetti
Wait time is average to the Caribbean vibe Highly recommended.

Classic local place on the water. Great fresh fish. Also had the stewed chicken and the veggie plate. We went back three times during our visit.

Beautiful outdoor view. Great food. Bugs came out because of the light on the building. Service is slow but that’s normal for island time!
