The moment we walked in was amazing.
We have a 4 year old who was treated with respect and greeted friendly. Also throughout the meal he was loved by the staff.
The staff also helped with great options with sake and pur meals. Any questions they helped out the best they could with accurate information.
The food!!! Amazing! No complaints from all 4 adults. Everyone agreed great tasting meal and best friendly service. Most had habichi and some sushi.
So happy we chose this place for my birthday celebration .

I went to Niji to try their sushi. They had happy hour going on, and I ordered appetizers Gyoza and crab rangoon for half price. They were pretty good, and then I also ordered 2 sushi rolls. One spicy salmon and a tuna roll that were cut up for 6 pieces each roll. They were a bit small too when my plate came to me. They were pretty good but the portions were a surprise to me but enjoyed my drinks and atmosphere of this sushi place that also has hibachi tables. I sat at the bar and my bartender was very courteous and friendly. Thanks Sam! This was one of 3 sushi like places close to my hotel and if you can try and get in for happy hour to get apps at half price. Not much else I can say as I only went once. If you give it a try Enjoy!

I know this place is still very new, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. Service was extremely slow. Our server was not very attentive, it took him almost 15 minutes to come take our order and we waiting over a half hour for our meal to come out. The food presentation was nice, but the chicken was way over cooked, dry and tough and the overall flavor was bland. And worst of all, the food was served on malanine! Our drinks were not refilled in a timely manner and we had to chase the server down for our bill. Overall, we were there almost 2 hours for lunch. I felt really bad for the customers sitting at hibachi grill before we were seated and a chef didn’t come out to them until we were getting ready to leave. This place has a lot of potential so hopefully we just got them on a bad day.

Niji sushi has been by far my favorite sushi place in Madison. Formerly Takumi sushi, I’m happy they were able to expand and hibachi to their menu. Hibachi is always a fun time. The staff is great. Favorite picks from the menu would be the fried shrimp shumai, mango cruise rolls, and the salmon or eel with the rice on the bottom. Also the hot sake is very good too, I recommend the large.

I meant to review them a lot sooner, but OMG!!! When I say whatever they bring out of that kitchen is touched my some deity I believe our waitress’s name was Yuki, she was so sweet and mind you age has no limits on ability. She checked on us while having roughly 10 more tables, some with entire groups. Also writing this two weeks after, shows how good the experience was. Definitely coming back. You should definitely go. The photos were not the best but the taste were better than any photo lenses ability. Amazing

We heard our favorite sushi spot moved here and had to try it out for ourselves. The sushi was fantastic and reminiscent of the other place. The menu is huge and has tons of variety. We’ll definitely be coming back.
