We ordered the grilled chicken and it was over-seasoned. The atmosphere is not pleasant at all due to the type of people outside the restaurant. It’s more of a takeaway option for safety reasons.

I was at Haley’s laundromat and I saw this place called Mary’s restaurant right next to the laundromat so I gave it a try. I ordered the steak and cheese with fries and I added a side of the chicken tamale. I also added a couple pepsis. The food was excellent. The chicken tamale was made with a chicken wing and he left the bone in to add more flavor. The tamale was very moist and very delicious just a tad of spice but very tasty. The Steak and Cheese Sandwich was really good too. The sandwich had a toasted sub roll with steak cheese lettuce tomato and light mayonnaise perfectly made and that was a companied by crispy fries. Overall the meal was excellent. As I was waiting for my laundry to complete next door I was able to have a good meal at Mary’s restaurant located at Fairfax circle next to Hailey’s Laundromat and Citco gas station.

I was here last time 3 years ago when I lived in this area. I always enjoy the food here and I recommend to everyone to try it. NOT TODAY. PLEASE AVOID this place. It turn in dirty and unhygienic place. I’m so sad to lose the best sopa de res and charcoal Peruvian chicken. Why 2 stars? Because of the costumes service from one person (male/cashier)

This place is nice. The ambience is a little dull, and the food took about 40 minutes. We watched people who came 20 minutes after us get served first. Carne asada was pretty good, but the slaw was really off-putting. Chicken pupusas are $2.95 and big for the price you get, so I would say that is the star of the experience. Tres leches was quite disappointing and dry. The chicken pupusas are nice to get here, but everything else is meh compared to Parrita’s.

The chicken here are decent, not anything special, but not bad either. What’s really special is their pupusas! this place’s pupusa locas are seriously amazing! They are made fresh with great flavor! They also offer many other dishes here, I have tried most and they are all decent. Overall this place offers fairly priced and good food, with amazing pupusas.
