Grabbed 4 to take home, the staff was fast and friendly. All the staff were masked which was appreciated. Our desserts tasted great as well, my personal favorite being the chocolate custard blended with black cherry ice, Misto.

I was really disappointed with my treatment at Rita’s. I have been going to Rita’s for years and I have never experienced such embarrassment. I went with my 3 children my 3 year old daughter, 10 year old son, and 16 year old. I asked the girl . If she could pass me one of the custards for my daughter and she said they can’t give out the items until it is paid for. Typically when I go. They hand the items out to the kids as they make them. I literally watched the customer in front of me enjoy his ice cream while his father waited to get his made and then pay for it once his came out. I don’t think my appearance gives the impression that I’m going to run off with ice cream with 3 children. Then she said it loud and proud while I watched other customers eat their custard, or ice. And not be profiled as a thief. But on the bright side I went to the Rita’s on York rd in Towson and I had a wonderful experience I spoke with the owner at that location ms Carrol and she is just the nicest person she listened to my gripe . And put me at ease. Customer service in my opinion has declined drastically over the years . And businesses need to know without customers you have no business.

Fast service, however customers have to ask for napkins. Also, a little too light on the custard (please see the attached picture). Maybe it’s me, but I’m used to the custard filling the entire top of the gelati. Overall the taste of the custard and Italian ice is great.

Concrete is a huge ripoff!! $7.50 for less than 7oz of custard and topping – I was assured that it was full before blending. (The picture shows weight with the spoon and lid.) Go to Baskin Robbins across the street for a better deal!

My Mastiff and I visited on National Ice Cream Day, 2024. We came after a not pleasant experience at the Baskin Robbins across the way. The clerk who helped us had a bright friendly smile. She offered my dog a pup cup! I chose a small sundae and was shocked at the cost as I’ve not been by in a while. The serving size was significantly less than I remembered. The customer service was so great we will visit again, before the season closes, for another rare treat.

Visited here for the first time recently, and was pleasantly surprised. As a transplant from Wisconsin, I’d been craving frozen custard, and was happy with my treat from this place. They were quite busy when we got there, but the line moved efficiently and we were served after only a short wait. The custard and prices were both decent.

I love all the Rita’s spots I’ve visited, but this is one of my favorite Rita’s thanks to the bench on the parking lot. It’s nice to let the kids have a seat, or wonder around the grass, instead of making a mess in the car.
