If you like a good ol’ country spot this is your place. Like that old Tim McGraw song says “where everybody knows everybody”, this is the place. — small town, good folks, and good food.
GOTTA TRY THE CHOCOLATE GRAVY!
The food here is downright fabulous with plenty of choices, and the prices won’t hurt your wallet. Everything’s clean (even the restrooms, which matters more than folks admit). Service is friendly!
Plenty of parking and it’s just right off the interstate, so it’s easy to swing in whether you’re local or just passin’ through.
Go on and give it a try — you’ll be glad you did.

Delicious!! Perfect stop along I22 with a family of 5. Everyone loved their meals including the kids – burgers were phenomenal. It was super easy to get to and quick service. Got there right at noon for lunch before the rush came in of locals. Everyone was friendly and the area seems extremely safe and quiet. Bathrooms were clean too!! This place is tiny but you won’t regret it! Loved all the decor as well. Do not let the outside deceive you!

Burger was amazing! They had to cook it well done as opposed to my usual medium well, but it was still juicy and flavorful. Cheesecurds were great, as were the mozzarella sticks. They also use the best kind of ice for their drinks. Nothing beats a soda with crushed ice. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. My visit was at night but still felt safe.

Lovely service and delicious food. The other customers were very nice. One customer paid for a stranger’s lunch. I ordered the vegetable soup but it was actually a chili with meat, beans, and veggies. Then I had the cheeseburger.

This place is EXTREMELY racist. Service is terrible. Me and my friend went here coming from Tupelo. Was told by many people to go here, but when we sat down to order our food I completely regretted it. From the jump they everyone was staring my friend down (young biracial female) the waitress didn’t even look at my friend when she was ready to order. She huffed everytime she asked for a refill When our food got out her order was the only one that was wrong. Even though the waitress was the one that wasn’t listening, she even had a problem with replacing what my friend had with something she could actually eat. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Especially if you are of a minority.

This place is awesome, if you ever travel on Interstate 22 in the Tennessee / Mississippi area have a stop there. Food is great and the 2 charming young ladies who served our food were confidently friendly and funny. 🙂

Service was a little slow, due to short staff. But we enjoyed the wait checking out the decor inside. It was a slow ride day so we didn’t mind taking the time to check this place out. The fish was crisp and meat was white and firm. If I get a fish plate and I order tarter and it comes with a pre-packaged sauce..I am usually done. But this tartar sauce was actually pretty good. So all in all I give this place 4 stars, we will be back to try their burgers. I hear they are wonderful.

Was better back in the day. Prices went way up lately and newer staff sometimes get your order right lol food still pretty good though. Don’t wait nearly as long as you use to.

My wife and I have been by there many times to stop at the gas station next door as it was on our way to or from our trips to our property out West. We always wanted to stop by there because of the intriguing country store appeal but it was always closed. Well we finally got our wish. We couldn’t resist this time we made it when it was open so…The staff was very friendly. The food was really good. I had the double cheeseburger and boy it was that greasy drip down your chin paper towel grabbing kind of burger. I was very full when I left. My wife had the country fried steak and gravy. You could tell the food was good because the restaurant was full of patrons but it was quiet. LOL. The only negative I have is that their fries were frozen ..you know..out of a bag. They were high quality frozen fries but some good old fashioned country fried potato wedges surely would have hit the spot. I loved the decor and will be back.

Peppertown is a great small town restaurant! We were on our way to Memphis and wanted to stop for lunch somewhere that was unique and authentic, and this was just the place! The staff was friendly, the wait time was short, and the food was simple but tasty!
