This place never disappoints. The loco moco is comforting, flavorful, and always hits the spot—perfect balance of rice, gravy, and a juicy patty. Portions are generous and everything tastes freshly made.
Service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere feels welcoming, like a local spot you’d keep coming back to. Definitely one of my go-to places when I’m craving good, hearty food. Highly recommend!

My first time back in 2 years since since they opened under new management and they’ve improved ALOT. The Buy-one-get-one plate lunch coupon from the midweek paper is what got me in and I’m glad I used/turned it in. The plate lunches was in large portions (even the mini bbq chicken was huge), tasted pretty good and the prices were fair. The restaurant was clean. Plenty of free parking. Easy phone ordering and take out. Although I miss the kapolei original I’m glad I gave the new Loco Moco a second chance.

Delicious food with a ton of options – get the mini instead of the full. The mini is still entree sized. Plate lunches, but not the stereotypical options. It’s a pretty cramped location that can run out of seating when it gets busy, and we waited a while for our meals, though they came out extremely fresh.

First meal here. Super nice lady behind the counter. She helped explain the menu to me and helped me order what I wanted, despite me not being able to think clearly after a 10 hour flight! I loved the spicy pork lunch plate (the mini size was perfect to finish the day with). My husband got the classic bento and it looked amazing.
