What an amazing hidden gem. Wonderful food. Everything was great and hit the spot. Generous portions.

I was expecting mall food but we got the full positive experience.

Our cook was amazing and super friendly. Strongly recommend this place.

I visited after shopping at the premium outlet because the rate was great. It placed at food court. I was not familiar with soul food and Puerto-Rican food, but the woman at the store was impressively kind and she gave me some test for taste. Quantity was pretty enough. Unfortunately, I can’t compare to any other food but I feel it is decent as a foodcourt food!

What a hidden Gem!!!! I tried empanadas (beef and Buffalo chicken), super fresh and super delicious!!!! The owner is such a sweet and welcoming woman, she took the time to share her story and chat with me while I was waiting. I also had the opportunity to try the pork, WOW!!! Sooo tasty and and the meat was extra tender!!! This place is definitely the true definition of a beautiful fusion of cultures!!! Thank you!!!

Margarita’s Latin Soul Food in the Finger Lakes Premium Outlets food court is a hidden gem. Everything tastes homemade and fresh, and the prices are really reasonable. Melvin was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The stewed cabbage, Spanish rice, corn bread and empanadas were all delicious, and there are tons of options to choose from. It’s comforting, flavorful food that feels like it was cooked with care. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Waterloo.

Excellent customer service. Got to hear a quick story about how the restaurant is named after their mom. We had the Latin Style Pulled Pork dish with Mac and cheese and Spanish rice. It was so good and the price right. They also recognize those that have served with a Veteran discount. Will be coming here again next time we’re in town!

The food is amazing! The man was also nice enough to let me try their other sides, chicken, and pork. The yams were so good and next time I will definitely get the stew chicken! This place needs to be in their own restaurant space or even a local food truck!

Located inside the food court at the outlets. Went here the other day. Ordered the half order of fried fish with Macaroni and cheese. They make it fresh and said it would be around 10 minutes. They had a rush of people while I was waiting. I waited maybe just under 20 minutes. She was so nice. When she called my order. She rang me up. She apologized for it taking so long. So she had given me a whole fish order because of the wait. Also told me to pick out a cookie for free. Amazing customer service and a very nice lady. The fish was nice and crispy and tasted good. I liked the breading it had on it. The Mac and cheese was pretty good very cheesy. It didn’t seem to be made with a rou. So it didn’t have a creamy texture to it. It was very stringy and moist though. Seasoned perfectly, it was enjoyed. The cornbread was perfectly cooked. My boyfriend and his daughter ate the s’mores cookie . I was so full I couldn’t. It was a very large s’mores stuffed cookie. They said it was yummy.

We stopped to charge the car and decided to grab lunch. We thought we would have to settle for fast food, but we were pleasantly surprised. The owner was there and showing us what they had to offer and telling us how it was all homemade. Each tray of food looked better than the last. We decided to get some empanadas, Mac n cheese, plantains, and cornbread to split along with some food from one of the other restaurants at the food court. It was all fantastic! The empanadas had a great proportion between meat and dough and were not too greasy, the mac n cheese was very cheesy and flavorful, the plantains were perfect and freshly made, and the cornbread was a little on the sweet side but in a good way. If we’re here again, we plan to try the pulled pork. We were so happy that we tried this place; it was completely worth it.
