We chose The Arcade after a long day on the highway because it looked interesting and was listed as a new restaurant in the area. We found a super friendly eatery with simple, but hearty well prepared food. The restaurant is divided with a bar/arcade on one side and dining on the other. We asked our delightful server to choose her favorite pizza for us and were pleased. The side salads were crisp and fresh. We were so impressed by the down home atmosphere that we returned on our way home a week later to try the chicken parmesan. We wish The Arcade all the best!

In 2024, the Arcade came under new ownership, so a lot of the information is outdated. The folks running it now are great,and the new food is great. We had breakfast, but they gave us some of their smoked brisket and chicken. It’s some of the best I have had. They also showed me the upstairs where they have some really nice rooms, some with hottubs and kitchenettes, meeting room and office work space, along with a laundry room. It’s a great place for a long or short stay.

Nice place to sit down and enjoy a cold brew and a well prepared dinner at a very reasonable price. It was quiet when we were there, but I imagine that the food and service is just as good when they are busier. Will remember this place if/when we pass through again. Highly recommend!

What a great place. We came to the bluegrass festival and they saved the night having the last band play inside with the rain coming in. It’s a great venue and the acoustic were perfect in the building. Had the opportunity to meet the owner very nice folks. Chatted with a couple staying at the Airbnb they said it was great. Prices are very reasonable and they food was great. Especially the onion rings.

Have eaten there several times and enjoyed it until this morning. We went for breakfast and ordered biscuits and gravy with hash browns. The gravy was so loaded down with pepper that we could not eat our food. The minute we took the first bite it burned our mouths. We told them about it and all they said was sorry. Then when we checked out we told them again about it and he responded that he had a fresh batch fixing. So if he knew that it was too much pepper and he had to fix another batch, was wondering why he couldn’t have given us a discounted price or given it free since we could not eat it.

Food ok, drinks ok, service horrible .
The venue was not prepared for event we had there. The servers yell at ya if you went to register to try to get food & they say I’ll get order at table and then they come to table & act annoyed that they’re taking your order(seen this with MANY ppl). Then I ordered my meal different time then ppl at table, soon as I get food I get ticket with couple ppl at table and she said “I’ll split when you pay” Why she add our tickets together when we didn’t order together was ODD, and honestly confusing since we ordered 30min -hour apart. The servers didn’t come to refresh/give drinks or take away dishes off table. Then coordinator said kitchen was gonna be open for whole time of event but it wasn’t, luckily I ordered my food when I did bc shortly after was rushed to close out my bill. The ONLY person who was on TOP of everything and the sweetest was long haired brownish blond white girl. She constantly was waiting on us/giving water and making sure everyone was trying to get taken care of but it seemed like she was just a host not a server or bartender. She only there for hour or 2 of of event and I think left because she came back in building when our event was almost over….. The actual waitresses SUCKED and had horrible attitude. Very unprepared for the small event taken place.

Pork Tenderloin was so good and Latisha the bartender was so sweet. Definitely would recommend this place. Cute little town, bar and restaurant off the beaten path.
