Tried the new Sol & Chile Kitchen in Belen and it was excellent. We ordered the chile cheese fries Christmas style, steak fajitas, and the taco plate. Everything came with beans and rice, and everything was flavorful. The steak fajitas were tender, the tacos were perfectly crunchy, and the chile cheese fries were the highlight. The red chile had a great spicy kick, and the green chile was full of flavor.
We also got chips and salsa, and the salsa was nice and spicy. The sopapillas at the end were warm, fluffy, and a perfect finish to the meal.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, I’d give it a 9/10 and will definitely be going back. Great addition to Belen!

We stopped just on a whim and wow!! The green chile was outstanding, I kept expecting my grandmother to come out and say “Ya sta lista la comida.” The chicharone’s were fresh and delicious. We are definitely going back. You want great food, great atmosphere and great prices, try it! Go back home for a spell when your mom and grandmother cooked your favorites and you could feel the warmth of home. Great restaurant!!!

This was a different place when we came last time but thought we would go ahead and try it. Great decision. Burger was definitely fresh and not frozen. Fries were fresh as well. Nice perfect light crisp. Our friends chili was Mexican chili and he said it was fantastic. If we’re back through here def coming back.

We had a great experience. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were reasonable, not oversized, but very manageable and filling.
It did take a little while for our food to come out, but that honestly wasn’t a negative for us. This isn’t fast food, and you can really taste that everything is homemade and prepared with care.
The menudo was a favorite for me. The meat was cut into smaller pieces, which I have never had before, and I think this is officially my new favorite way to have it. It wasn’t very spicy, just enough to have a nice kick, and it was so flavorful. Highly recommend! If I had one small suggestion, I wish bolillo bread or telera was an option with the menudo, which would have made it perfect, but it definitely wasn’t a deal breaker.
The kids portion sizes were perfect, which I really appreciated. We also tried the chile rellenos and chilaquiles verdes. everything was very good.
And the sopapillas… wow. Honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Super fluffy, the perfect thickness, and with the honey, chef’s kiss . I’ll probably be daydreaming about them for the next few days. Better than any I’ve ever made at home lol.We will definitely be back. Thank you!!
