The ambiance is perfect for a date although I wouldve liked for a sectioned off area since they are located so close to the door. The wind and snow made the seating area very cold. However the drinks they served us did eventually warm us to a comfortable temperature. The food was prepared perfectly and with the good portion size you are able to get full. Although I can never eat all my food in puble
public so I was further please when J was able to reheat my ffod and it still tasted incredible. 8 out of 10 for sure. I gave them an 8 simply because i went for the devour menu and there were only two course actually bc the dessert was extra, we got it and it was good but still extra.

Decided to give this restaurant a shot while staying. Ordered a steak salad and a drink. Food came promptly and looked awesome. The steak wasn’t cooked right and it smelled rancid. Caught a server after i ate the salad and asked them to take the steak off the bill. The server was awesome and cleared it up above and beyond. The bar had a musician playing and it made for a pleasant atmosphere. If you get drinks and want to hang out it’s perfect. If you are after a good meal you may want to look elsewhere. Staff for me was awesome.

Had the best breakfast at our recent stay at the Renaissance! The Duck Confit Hash was outstanding! Our server, Kamrym was perfect!

Looks can be deceiving…
Food and restaurant photograph well but that’s about it. Who reheats shrimp??
Staff seemed polite and pleasant but just distracted and neglectful. I walked in to what looked to be a nice fun bar but the restaurant that was empty. For some reason I was sat on the restaurant side where there literally were no other customers. My salad was actually really good so I was excited for the rest of my food to come. The steak was over cooked but edible but my shrimp was awful. First bite was cold and tough. I had to wait a while for the server to check back so I could notify her and hopefully get another order in before my steak was done. They take it back, reheat it then bring it back out charred. I don’t know why i felt optimistic still so I tried to bite it and of course was still tough and rubbery. I tried to cancel them but they insisted on bringing another order. It took forever and when it came out I thought I was being punked. Charred again and now overly seasoned. I had to wait forever to get a server to come take them and to bring a check. After they bring the check I literally had to wait another 10 minutes before I got up and went to the hostess stand for attention and to pay my bill. Just a really bad experience and I wanted to share my honest opinion to save someone. I would go back, only if I was craving a salad and I’d get it to go.

I want to be really clear though, everyone was nice and pleasant other than the neglect. The place wasn’t busy at all, I just think staff wasn’t paying attention.

We went this place for the first time. It is located inside of Renaissance Hotel in Carmel. We ordered 3 different omelettes and 1 buffet. The omelettes were ok, breakfast buffet was too expensive. But the server, Caleb, was awesome.

Food was very good, but service was a bit slow considering there were only 2 other tables with guests at the time we were there.

Very good food! Nice quiet Friday evening meal!
My wife loved the filet, I had the sea scallops very well prepared and tasted excellent. Truffle Mac and cheese for the first time, it’s was OK just not a fan of Truffle. Garlic mashed potatoes were great.
House salads very good. I plan to return!
Michelle is a great server.

Their breakfast buffet is average. The food was mainly prepackaged, reheated items, with the exception of the potatoes and possibly the bacon. The cost was approximately $20 with a drink, other than coffee or juice (I had a soda). If you stay overnight and are a rewards member, many tijmes they will comp breakfast. I met visiting family members so had to pay full price. The waitress we had was either new or had not waited tables before. She was a bit rude and had to be tracked down for refills on drinks. Observing other wait staff, our experience was unique to our server. Overall, I do recommend the breakfast if you can find a discount of some sort.
