Typically I order on DoorDash and I left a review but I wanna leave one here too AMAZING FOOD SUPER YUMMY EVERYTIME I order here at least once a week on DoorDash I get the fish dinner with 3 sides; Mac and cheese the collard greens (amazing) and the green beans there veggies don’t have pork but turkey instead and the food is always very tasty and flavorful. One day I tried another place and I was not at all satisfied and wished I’d just ordered here instead portions are great I’m a larger girl so I like large portions and they give that. Stop in and try it or order on DoorDash for rewards too NEVER ONCE HAVE I GONE AND BEEN DISAPPOINTED

Where to start? After trying this place I was hoping to be amazed by portion sizes and food quality unfortunately quantity over quality never sits well. My food smelled and tasted very off as in spoiled from the greens to the wings. Wings had a off taste as if they had been sitting raw for a while then cooked. The macaroni and cheese was ok but other than that everything else just tasted and smelled just off. Also as a customer I nor anyone else should be told by any employee to “tip” under any circumstance including just for making our food. But nice bar cool atmosphere but that’s about it.

Long story short-group of friends doubted me for getting food from a “gentlemans” place in the rough looking side of town. But I promise you once they tasted that haddock and had some collard greens with that cornbread, 4 people immediately ordered on doordash. They did accidentally give one friend collard greens instead of Mac and cheese, but imma give a pass since the food was still great and the price was affordable too. Those yams hit the spot too!

I wanna start off by saying that I actually love the golden nugget. It’s a great establishment and a staple in the neighborhood but what I don’t understand is last week. I ordered food from you guys and it was immaculate. Amazing when I say there was no complaints at all about my whole plate none at all then I ordered the exact same thing this week. I get chicken wings that were fried in burnt grease old macaroni and cheese. The greens are overcooked and mushy and I also ordered yams which I never got. I don’t understand how you can go from one week ago presenting me with something so amazing and then the next week not being consistent and giving me something totally different. I understand the prices of food right now and everything that’s going on and how much grease cost but if it’s gonna give you a better product that’s gonna keep your customers satisfied it doesn’t take that long to change Grease just do it because the more people get a consistent product, the more the business will grow and I know some black folks don’t wanna hear it so I don’t need a response back from the owner or whoever runs this page. All I ask is for you guys to do better love is love and I pray for nothing but the best for your business.

Nice bar/night club….was there for a Birthday party. The area was blocked off and it was just friends and family. Finger foods, everything was good. Fresh fruit and vegetables, wings, swedish meatballs etc….cash bar.

I had some fry haddock from there about 3 weeks ago. I’ve been wanting more since. I went today 2/1/2025 ordered a haddock dinner and I don’t have not 1 complaint. The fish was fresh and hot, Mac and Cheese was nice and creamy. I’ll be going back to get more soon

The food was actually kind of bad. The mac was bad unless you tell them how to prepare it…. I guess. The greens were good but the wings were undercooked and made us nauseous eating them because they were kind of slimy. Now, i will say the Dj’s and bartenders do a great great job i loved the hype they bring to the environment. The browskin lady with the black curly hair working the bar april 12th (last night) was a great spirit and good service as well. I feel as though the kitchen is slighty too comfortable with being unprofessional. They were good people with good intentions but when youre kind of under the influence and new to the city you kind of expect people to know more about their service so you can have a sense of what to be certain about. I’ve never been inside I ordered food through DoorDash everything was great . Everything was hot & taste fresh . Fish was seasoned good yams were the perfect amount of sweet & soft but not mush, green beans was packed with turkey and seasoned well the Mac was better than any soul food place Ive had in buffalo but the portion was lacking . Overall I’d order again
