Very good food. Probably one of if not the best bbq in the Lincoln area. Mac & cheese was very good. The pork belly was tender with good flavor. Food tastes pretty fresh. Staff was very friendly and happy. I would consider this one of the better “fast food” restaurant in Lincoln. I enjoy eating here. I would recommend stopping by and trying it out. I will be eating here again

Atmosphere was solid very nice inside made me feel welcomed service was very nice and speedy letting my know up front what there is and isn’t. However I had a problem with my order the burnt ends were very tough and some were a bit dry bbq sauce did help however and I’d say that’s one of the best things there I got it Togo since I was gonna head to Omaha and ate it fresh in my car while heading there and it was a shock how tough they were considering burnt ends are obviously supposed to be tender and succulent Mac and cheese as well was a bit underwhelming seemed under seasoned and the cheese sauce didn’t really taste like cheese tastes more like a simple béchamel I really wanted to love this but I need to be honest it wasn’t good enough

From the genuine greeting when we walked in the door to the expertly smoked meats, Canyon Joe’s is doing it right! Try it all! The brisket is thick sliced with the perfect pull on the fat cap, the ribs literally fall off the bone with a deep smokey flavor, the in house made sausage is nice and dense and full of flavor, the turkey is moist and juicy with a peppery bite but those pork belly burnt ends will steal the show every time! Absolutely hands down best we’ve ever had! Our favorite side was the potato salad but the beans came in a close second! Simple decor but complex BBQ’ing going on here!

Texas BBQ in Nebraska? Absolutely.
I’ve eaten at the heavy hitters in Texas (Black’s, Franklin’s), and this place holds its own. This is hands down the best BBQ you’ll find outside of Texas. They don’t miss on anything, but the brisket and sausage are must-tries. You can tell these folks are passionate about their craft. I’m genuinely in love with this place.

Texas craft bbq just as good as the fellas in Texas are smoking. Seriously these guys are taking time and worry about the small details you can see it and taste it in the products from the meats to the sides all are fantastic. The brisket gets a great bark, no sauce needed. It is juicy and tender, plastic fork approved. Get here before there are lines.
Another time in here a few weeks later and again excellent bbq meats and very good well crafted sides.

Came by last week but they were sold out already. Decided to go early for lunch this time (around 11am), and by the time I left, there was a long line out the door. I got the brisket and mac and both were sensational! The Texas bbq sauces were delicious, too, and I inhaled my meal in less than 20 minutes. I’ll be back to try their other meats and sides. Great food, great service, great location. All in all, a great addition to Lincoln!

Best BBQ in Lincoln!
This place was delicious. It’s Texas BBQ, and everything I tried was exceptional. The brisket is extra, but as soon as you taste it you see why…it was the most tender, melt in your mouth thick slab of brisket I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend, great hidden gem in Lincoln! Also has really nice outdoor seating, which is unfortunately uncommon in Lincoln! Do wish there was non plastic silverware available, I get why not, but not very sustainable.

Fantastic BBQ. Family ran business. Has great slow smoked meats. Homemade sides and desserts. They even make their sausage in house. 10 for 10 we will be back!
