I would come back here any day I’m in this area of Manhattan!!
Incredibly friendly staff, the food is incredible as well. not over salted at all but still somehow retains very strong savory notes. I tried chips and guacamole, saw the best guacamole I’ve ever had, then I had half of their signature burritos which was amazing and I also had their beans and a tamale. Everything was somehow great, I most definitely will be back!!
I couldn’t believe the pricing was so affordable for such quality! And, always have to mention, cleanliness – it was very clean pristine.

I came a few times at night. Out of the things I ate, I’d say I like the goat soup the best. It is on the saltier side, but I tend to like things saltier anyway.
In the beef there were were minimal chewy bits. I like peppers, onions, and beef. It was pretty good.
After eating a bunch of things, I finally got to the chorizo quesadilla at the end. So I was full and it got cold by the time I ate it. Can’t really say how it was when it was freshly made, but it was okay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience!
Fernando’s Mexican restaurant is amazing! The food is incredibly authentic, and you can truly feel Fernando’s passion for cooking in every dish. The staff is kind and welcoming, the restaurant is very clean, and the ambiance with the music is lovely. An all-around fantastic experience — heading back for more tomorrow!

Stoped here for lunch. The Mexican food was delicious but the American not so much. Buffalo wings were basic frozen wing dings with tons of sauce. It was weird having burritos served with French fries which were also frozen and basic. Menu was confusing yet definitively stick to the authentic items for money worth!

A small, narrow restaurant with 9 tables with a friendly staff. Ordered chicken enchiladas verde. The yellow rice and black beans were tasty but the enchiladas were extremely good with breast meat, lettuce, chives and white cheese and the tastiest tomatillo sauce I have ever had. They have a Happy Hour and wine list.

This is our favorite go-to place for weekend brunch and after-work meals. It’s slightly pricier but the food is worth it! Very fresh, cooked only upon ordering, delicious like home-cooked. Everyone there is friendly, service is fast! Atmosphere is super pleasant and relaxed. The table by the window are the best seats for two in all of NYC!

I’ve been on the hunt for the best tacos still and I would say this is up there. The food was fresh and hot. I also enjoyed the service as well. They were very attentive and answered the questions I had. Next time I’m in the city, I’ll be sure to stop by again

Went to El Tepeyac Taqueria last Friday. Chips and Salsa!!!! Soooo good. We ordered chicken nachos and cheese enchiladas. WE WILL BE BACK. Our server Jeffery was so nice and the manager also. He made sure we tasted the salsa before digging in. Great atmosphere and vibe!

Delicious burritos, the best in Manhattan! They’re loaded, we had campechano (steak + chorizo) and el tepeyac (Al pastor) and both come with guacamole, cheese, lettuce and delicious Spanish rice. The owner, Fernando, is amazing. We asked for a hand sanitizer and he ran out of the restaurant to buy it for us. Insane hospitality! He is also a pleasure to speak with and genuinely cares about his customers. We will be coming back for breakfast burritos :)))

I would have given them 5/5 because the food and service is good. My only suggestion is that during Taco Tuesdays you can’t mix and match the buy 2 get 1 free. They have 3 options which are Grilled Chicken, Pork Carnitas, and Vegetarian. You have to get the same tacos so if you have to order 2 pork carnitas and you’ll get 1 pork carnitas for free. I understand that the promotion is only for the 3 options but they should really be able to mix and match even if it’s only those two options. And maybe still do the promotion and have an additional fee for the higher priced tacos.
