I will no longer patronize this location. One day over the summer, I happen to observe as I was waiting for my order, the worker making smoothies, eating the leftover smoothie mix after making a smoothie. Now, recently, I put in an online order inadvertently at the Prince Frederick location when I intended to place order for the Location in Dunkirk. When I called the Prince Frederick location to make them aware of the error. I spoke with the manager on duty, who stated he would not be able to provide me with a refund. When I asked for name of owner, manager would not provide me any information only stated an email would be sent to request refund. I didn’t have confidence of my refund being processed. To this day over a month later, I have yet to receive my refund.

Only two employees working. Stood in line 10min to get to the register and watch the employee make 3 online orders after I was already waiting 10min to order. No greeting or anything the girl was slamming equipment everywhere. Decided to leave and not order anything. I understand understaffing is not the fault of the employees who do show up but dont take it out on the customers coming in..

Very disappointing experience.
Ordering a single item was unnecessarily inefficient, and my order was still incorrect. Although the store contacted me, the proposed resolution was even more unreasonable than the original issue. I was asked to provide my home address, which I am not comfortable sharing. I offered to pick up the correct item in-store or accept store credit, but neither option was accommodated.
Additionally, the cashier’s attitude came across as dismissive and somewhat rude, which only added to the negative experience.
The entire process was frustrating and poorly managed. I expected a far more professional and customer-focused level of service. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this store based on my experience

I’ve ordered from this location 42 times since January of 2025. (Yes, I added them up.) Lately, I have been ordering the Detox Island Green with extra blueberries, spinach/kale, and ginger. I received my order through Door Dash today and the smoothie was straight up kale/spinach/ginger. I don’t think the mango, pineapple, or banana were added. There were obviously no blueberries added. It was undrinkable.

I called the store and spoke to a shift supervisor to let them know about the problem. The shift supervisor told me she would contact the owner to see if there was anything they could do. She followed through and called back a few minutes later. I was told that the owner responded by saying there was nothing they could do about it because of the add-on items that I had chosen and they couldn’t guarantee how they would taste.

A simple solution would have been to offer to replace the smoothie with one that had been made like the MANY others I had received in the past. This simple solution was refused and they have lost a very good customer.

I will be taking my business elsewhere.

***While I appreciate the response below, it doesn’t negate the fact that the owner had the opportunity to correct this simple issue and refused to do so. The owner had direct contact with this quality control issue and refused to address it. That speaks volumes about the customer service mindset of the owner.

Best wishes for your future business, but out of principle, I will no longer spend my hard earned money at your establishment.

This location is busy! That being said, the customer service remains amazing even under busy conditions. Shout out to Jamar and Jordan who were working one day and so busy but were so respectful and smiling while pushing through the hefty orders they received! Kudos! Keep up the great work, I love my smoothies!

I was here at 11:30 today with my toddler to pick up lunch for my wife. When I left, I accidentally left my smoothie behind on the counter. Right when I finished putting my kid in my car the cashier came running out of the shop with my smoothie and brought it across the parking lot to me. I am so thankful; she really saved the day for us!
Even before that incident, the staff were super friendly and helpful and patient with me asking a lot of questions since I’ve never been there before. The place is very clean. The food was much better and more filling than I was expecting. I had a great experience here!

I usually enjoy Tropical Smoothie, but this particular location was disappointing. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a weird, smelly stench that made me question if I should even stay. Then, the person who appeared to be the manager—only one wearing a collared shirt, looked to be in his 40s—took my order. Let me just say, he reeked of cigarettes and had the most unpleasant attitude I’ve experienced in a long time.

After placing my order, I waited an unreasonably long time for both my food and smoothie. It looked like only three people were working, and honestly, it showed. The only redeeming part of my visit was the smoothie—it was delicious, clearly made by a younger woman who seemed to actually care about her job. The food, however, came out a bit disheveled and thrown together, though it still tasted fine.

I love Tropical Smoothie as a brand, but this location? Never again. Absolutely not up to standard.

The young manager employee(I believe his name was Landon) was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable about the products being sold and had a great attitude , showcasing his work ethic and that he truly cared about each and every customer as well as his fellow employees. Great job Prince Frederick ! Keep up the good work, and while you’re at it make sure that young gentleman is appreciated, it is rare to see folks who actually care about they’re jobs, especially this younger generation.

They don’t seem to be able to read orders. The receipt on the sandwich wrapping says exactly what we ordered, but what we received was a generic version of the sandwich, which has things that will make me sick if I eat. That’s why I ordered a modified version. They also told me they gave me the sides, but they hadn’t done that either. I’m not sure if they can’t read or just don’t care, but it’s not a good look.

I bought a smoothie that I didn’t like at all, and instead of offering a complimentary refill, the staff actually wanted to charge me for a replacement. I barely touched it, and it’s unacceptable to force customers to pay for a drink they don’t enjoy. This experience highlighted a serious issue with their customer service. I left the drink at the counter for her to try herself. It’s crucial for this establishment to train its staff to consult with their managers in similar situations to ensure customer satisfaction. If someone tries a drink for the first time and finds it unpalatable, it should not be the customer’s responsibility to bear the cost. This is basic customer service. I shouldn’t have to argue about a simple request, especially with a inexperienced associate.
