We are a locally owned and operated pizzeria and sports bar. We are proud to be a favorite for locals to meet for fresh pizza, ice cold beer, wings, burgers, and pepperoni rolls. We also offer a variety of fine dining including lobster ravioli, lasagna and more. Our front dining area, established in 1934 is a great option to come in and relax with family and friends and enjoy great food. Great food with generous portions. Atmosphere was great and the band was really above my expectations. We had a GREAT time!
My second visit was last night and the Piney Bottom Boys I believe the band was called was really awesome! Both bands I’ve heard play there did not disappoint! Highly recommend the Philly Cheese Steak. Food and service were both again excellent and was the music!
Update: We’ve been back several times since and never disappoints!

Service was OK not the best, but not the worst. This food that I was given was not worth what I paid at all! Subway steaks foot-long is actually a foot-long and it tastes like a Philly. This did not super greasy overcooked and the ribbon fries. It was nothing but just grease.

Called an hour prior to reserve a table for our party. When we got there, the first person we saw didn’t greet us at all, just told me to go to the back. When we get to the back, the three waitresses that saw me standing and needing help simply looked my way, didn’t smile, didn’t ask if I needed anything, just walked away. The first person we spoke to came in again and was told by the waitresses there wasn’t a place for us in the back, so they made a table in the front – which is fine. However, on her way back through to the front of the restaurant, this person pushes my niece out of her way and proceeds to be rude to the adults in our party until she heard me loudly say she wasn’t getting a tip acting like that. Surprisingly, her demeanor immediately changed and we finally had a nice, professional waitress.
Moral of the story is: if you’re coming here for a pretty server and good music, have at it. If you’re coming for people who are going to be kind and good servers just because, go somewhere else.

Best chicken, bacon, ranch pizza I’ve ever eaten. Kudos to the chef. This is the pizza we will compare all others too.

It was very good. I am a musician and Calacino’s has a vibrant live music scene. The band this night was really good. I had spaghetti and meatballs instead of my usual pizza, and it was fantastic. The waitress took good care of us. Good experience all around

The lobster ravioli here has been some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The cream sauce tastes is very flavorful. The pepperoni rolls are great for a sharing side. My husband’s sausage and chicken pizza tasted phenomenal. Definitely get the reese’s peanut butter cake if you want a sweet ending to your meal.

This is a legit sports bar. Got a giant projector plus tons of TVs playing the game. Pizza is good, but the crust is kinda weird – got an odd crunch to it, like they’re using cornflour or semolina on the bottom. Not bad, just weird. Typical beer you’d find at a sports bar is offered, though if you’re feeling ambitious they’ll fill up about a gallon of it into this weird contraption that I never got the name of. Real sense of community here – lots of locals. Everyone at the bar was ready to make conversation, and damn near everyone in the joint was vocal about the game that was being played. Pretty fun if you’re into that sort of thing. They had live music on the patio when we came. Overall left this place thinking “this is a damn good sports bar, wish we had something like it where I live”.

Found this little out-of-the-way place while staying overnight at one local hotels. I enjoyed the club sandwich with onion rings. Both were very good. I topped that off with the chocolate peanut butter take a couple of beers. Wonderful and friendly staff and the locals provided nice conversation at the bar. I come through Beckley about twice a year as it is a good halfway point in my travels. I will remember to come here again next time. I would highly recommend anybody to patronize this establishment.

Food was excellent as was our server. I put together a family dinner there with one of my sons, my mom and my ex husband before we went to see superman. We were able to talk, order, eat, and talk some more in 45 minutes. We got a medium cheese pizza, 2 club sandwiches one with fries one with a house salad, a Philly cheesesteak and another medium cheese to go. They have coke products. The atmosphere is actually the best of both worlds. We accidentally came through the back where the bar is – it was very warm and busy with lots of smiling people chatting etc it was nice. A little loud for our outing though, we went into the front part of the restaurant which was much quieter and offered the kind of atmosphere I was looking for in this occasion. The booths are adorable and have hooks for your purse. They are a bit narrow but there are big tables in the center aisle as well if you like more space. The parking situation is excellent. All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional.
