I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered dessert for myself and a friend, and halfway through eating mine, I noticed a white spot. Upon closer inspection, I realized the cake had mold on it. We checked my friend’s dessert as well, and unfortunately, it was also contaminated.
This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety and storage practices. I hope the restaurant takes immediate steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers.

I randomly stopped in here because the smell outside was heavenly. I ordered chicken and chorizo in garlic sauce and it tasted even better than it looked and smelled. The homemade sangria is so fresh and delicious. The employees were all so friendly. Thank you for a fantastic lunch experience!

This place has the equipment to be great however the dinner I received tonight was lackluster. For how well the seasonings on the whole chicken and ribs I bought were.. the chicken was dried out and the ribs were very tough. The chicken could have come off much sooner… and the ribs needed to be cooked slow and long before getting a nice bark. I ordered all 4 sides and they were good.

Hands down one of my favorite Portuguese spots! Codfish bites appetizer is tasty and melts in your mouth! Love the shrimp in garlic sauce with rice and fries. I can’t get enough!

5 stars for price/quality ratio. This is not a fancy sofisticated bbq place, but the food is good, the portions are huge and the price is right.
This is not am American BBQ: no sweet sugary fat dressing. This is plain bbq with salt and herbs. Good fries, good rice.

My guest and I had a nice lunch here at Backyard Bar & Grill. I had Bbq chicken and ribs with sides. She had Casino Crab. The food was great after waiting for a while because the waiter is fairly new. Other than that, it went well. He still got a tip. The window view is everything!! #People watching and talking while waiting on our food. Much later, there were others who came in to have a meeting while dining. Great setup for meetings with coworkers. I will come back again. Oh, I forgot to mention that the bar area is really nice. My guest had a strawberry something, not really sure… I had lemon/lime water. Really good!

A Portugues restaurant when yo can sit and eat or order to go, the meats are really good you can feel the smell of good bbq meats, the appearence of the kitchen where you order can be better, the door’s entrance, the refrigerator for drinks, the garbage trash it looks replaceable to be by the front desk.

As far as the decor, nothin special. But still nice.
We ordered two appetizers. The shrimp and the cherizo. I wasn’t crazy about the shrimp. Everyone else enjoyed them.
The cherizo was very good.
Then came the main course.
Each comes with 2 sides. Your options are Vegetables, rice, beans or french fries. We all chose the vegetables and rice. First, chicken and rice. Chicken was so moist and flavorful. They have an option of a half or full. I’ll tell you right now even the half is a lot of food.
Second, A chicken sandwich. Wasn’t bad but not really anything you would order again.
3rd, the backyard steak. This plate was huge! Steak covered with ham and an egg. Delicious! Way too much food.
Over all I am definitely going to try again.

It’s been like 2 years I have not come to this place. I don’t know what happened but the food is not the anymore. I ordered half a chicken with fries and rice. The fries are not the same as before. They changed the quality of fries I could not eat them. The rice and the chicken also is not the same as in the past. Lost a customer will not come here anymore or recommend it to anyone.
