Literally everything but the chicken was under cooked. My frys where basically still frozen and the mac looked like the slop you feed to a prisoner. Dont know what kinda uneducated individuals it takes to not be able to cook pre-made frys but they still managed to do so. I would not recommend going here dont know what kinda management they have but clearly they dont care about standards.

This has to be the most incompetent Popeys on the planet. Not one employee looks like they care, been here before where they were yelling/cussing at each other. Always slow and food is subpar. By far the worst Wichita location. I dont think management exist, if they do they are blind. A couple other issues: 1. The tell me they dont accept Popeyes coupons. 2. Now they say they wont accept my Popeyes gift card. 3. When I tried to enter my rewards from the recipient, it says it was already claimed, but not by me. Someone is scamming points.

Ordered a 12 piece meal, mixed spicy and regular all white meat. With two additional sides. Of the twelve pieces 9 of them were small wings. All the sides where tiny containers barely a spoonful in each one expect for the Coleslaw that was in a normal container. When we asked about the size of the other sides we were told that is the normal. When picking up the order people where standing around trying to order and they where out of almost everything, this was at 6:00. We live right down the road, this was our first time here, ABs we will not be going back

After about 6 different visits since this location opened and im finally writing a review. I was very excited when we got this location on Maize as I prefer their chicken over other fried chicken restaurants but I dont know how much longer im willing to give them chances to improve. With each of my 6 trips here you have yet to actually get my order correct. Ive experienced where your employees claim they are out of something I want, whether its bacon on my sandwich or even being out of chicken strips. Ive experienced 30+ minute wait times in the drive thru and been told they forgot my order and I had to wait even longer. I dont believe your employees have ever actually got any of my orders correct, and today was no exception. I ordered the #2 Ghost pepper sandwich as a Large combo. That comes with 2 sides, a biscuit, and drink. I ordered a coke. The sandwich comes with bacon and I believe cheese. I also ordered their chicken wraps for my son. The sandwich had no bacon or cheese on it and the exterior of the bun was covered in sauce. They also shorted me the biscuit, which is typically the item they forget with my past orders. The wraps looked to be thrown together and completely fell apart when we unwrapped them. The Cokes syrup ratio is way out of whack and tasted terrible.
Your staff seemed to absolutely not want to be there and appeared to almost be inconvenienced I had ordered food. In general your staff seems to not care about the customer experience and dont take ownership of their work or try to be a good representative of your company.
I keep telling myself each visit is going to be my last, but I actually think I mean it this time. Ive never wished for a restaurant to close down but at this point Popeyes needs to shut this location down to save their reputation. The food quality has never been an issue, its everything else this location completely fails at. I dont recommend anyone visit this location as their staff clearly is only there for a paycheck and has zero consern for quality.

I got chicken sandwiches from here, and the bread was dry like a rock. The chicken was the same way. The coleslaw was also dry. The food here is awful. To make matters worse, the service is beyond unacceptable. They are always short on staff, the lobby is often closed, and no one answers at the drive-thru.

I come to Wichita frequently to get truck parts. The Maize rd Popeyes is practically on my way home. As such, I can rarely go home without stopping to grab my go to meal, a bacon, cheese, chicken sandwich combo. The location is always spotless. The staff is friendly,and of course the food is flawless. I definitely Love that chicken from Popeyes!

I arrived at 2:45. I ordered a 3 piece tender meal with red beans and rice and a biscuit. I received my food within a few minutes. It was freshly cooked and hot. The cashier, Cynthia, was very nice, also. The restaurant was very clean, also.

I want around 5:30 ordered the Freddy Fazbear’s box with a regular size drink, and everybody that was in there waiting for food was in there for about two hours still waiting on the food employees were only making the mobile orders. People were trying to get employees attention so they can at least get their food and they were not listening. This is unacceptable. I didn’t end up getting my food until around 7:30 these employees need to be fired and the store needs to be shut down. This is not a way to run a business. I’m not coming back to any Popeyes locations ever again and for that long wait time I demand that I get a refund this is unacceptable.

What is going on with this store? Every time I drive by, I see cones in one of the lanes to indicate it is closed, even at their busiest hours! I drove by at 9PM on 10/10/25 and thought they were closed. The outside lights were turned off, the lobby was dark, but the kitchen area was lit up with people inside. Had to check google to see if they were open, which says they close at 11PM. Mind you, it is a Friday night. I didn’t see a car in drive thru and chances are other people think they’re closed too! The few times I have gone, the customer service was basic. No hospitality, no manners, customer service is non existent. Even saying thanks gets a “uh-huh.” I don’t know why workers don’t say you’re welcome or even, “Have a good day.” I am the one saying thank you, please, and have a good day…. Is training not teaching customer service skills? If sales are plummeting at this location, suggest retraining immediately. From the other reviews, a lot is going downhill.
