Found this quiet cafe located in annandale next to 9292korean bbq. Great place to study or work and has tasty drinks too. I got a pistachio latte with only one shot of espresso and the flavor is wonderful. they are also connected to a bbq chicken if you want to grab lunch with friends or coworkers

I had such a lovely first visit to Cafe V! The space is adorable and cozy – perfect for settling in to work for a while. What really stood out was the incredibly kind service. They surprised me with complimentary pancakes just to be welcoming on my first visit. Such a thoughtful gesture that instantly made me feel at home. I’m so grateful to have found this sweet little spot and can’t wait to come back! I will recommend this spot to friends as well.

My kid wanted to order some lunch. She saw the Korean rice cake on the menu, but she wasn’t sure whether it’s spicy or not, so she asked the staff. The lady recommended one to her although there are two “fire” sign next to the item indicating it’s pretty spicy. I told the staff that my kid couldn’t handle anything spicy. The lady kept saying it won’t feel spicy at all and rushed my kid to order the one she recommended. She kept saying to my kid that “you will like it”. Well, my kid didn’t eat any of it because it is spicy! Very rude customer service.

We had a delightful breakfast at this place this morning! As soon as we walked into the shop, we were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and high ceilings. Although the interior décor style is old-school and reminiscent of the 1980s, with many plush toys, big graphics covering the walls, and dark brown painted walls on the other side, the shop was clean and well-maintained.

We ordered a V Morning Egg & Cheese Wrap and an Egg & Cheese Breakfast Croissant, which had a pleasant flavor and were the perfect portion sizes. The prices were very reasonable as well. The coffee was excellent, with a rich, full-bodied taste and slight acidity. For dessert, we had gluten-free banana bread and peach scones. The banana bread came with a heart-shaped plastic bubble that could be squeezed to add sweetness and moistness to the bread, making it even more enjoyable. The scone was the best we had ever tasted; it was not too dry, had enough fruity flavors and bits of dried peaches on top, and we could taste a pleasing milk powder flavor on the last bite. The scones were so good that we bought more to take home.

This shop bakes fresh and delicious scones every day, and they are well-known for it. The letter “V” in Cafe V represents the shop owner’s first initial. Our experience was excellent, and we can’t wait to go back and sample more of their tasty treats.

Fairly new cafe that also sells wide variety of chicken wings specials. The Honey Cinnamon Latte was delicious and well balanced in all the flavors. A rare cafe that doesn’t use way too hot water. It was just right for me. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Strong recommendation.

First time visitor to this coffee shop, and it was fantastic! The coffee was on point, the food was fairly priced and delicious… And the pastries look amazing! Pro tip, always get a pastry for later!

The staff working were super nice, very informative, and accommodating! There is ample seating and table space, and the layout is spacious yet cozy.

This is definitely a place to add to your coffee shop rotation for a great cafe experience, and to bring the people that you love!

We were looking for a Cafe that is different than regular known names, so searching and found this Cafe. We were amazed by the food quality and so is the Coffee, actually prices are really fair. My wife got the Avocado Toast and Cappuccino and I got the Peach Orange Scones and Americano, which tasted much better than big Coffee names, my wife says that she never tasted an Avocado Toast like this before. Over all, if you’re in the area and feel to have something light and some Hot drink or Cold, then I recommend it for you.

Adorable little cafe with great coffee and phenomenal pastries! I visited Cafe V on a Saturday afternoon to catch up on a bit of reading and work, and it was the perfect place to settle down for a few hours. It was quite busy when we arrived, but, thankfully, Cafe V had ample seating available, including a long, wide hallway in the back that was lined with tables. We arrived a bit too late to get a coffee, but we decided to split an herbal tea and an almond milk matcha latte, as well as a fig scone. The tea was lovely — it was super fruity and a smidge tart, so all around quite refreshing — and the matcha latte was solid. The matcha flavor was a tad too light for my liking, but it was still great. It’s admittedly a bit pricey — our matcha latte was $6, and most of the coffee drinks would have also been around $5-8 — but it’s not that far out of the range I’d expect for DC. The scone, however, really impressed me; it was super buttery, had a great flavor from the fig syrup and dried figs on top, and wasn’t overly sweet. They had a wide selection of scones, which they bake in-house daily, as well as a few other pastries, so I’ll be sure to come back and sample their other scones and coffee!
