Came here on a Saturday night from the Ramada down the street looking for a decent burger with fries to eat back at my hotel room. The waitresses were very nice and helpful. I got my order in less than 5 minutes, and it was DELICIOUS and fresh. Thank you Peppers staff! I will be back when I visit the area for sure.

Good food that comes in large portions though takes a little bit to get to the table. Great service, I have been multiple times and have gotten a variety of waitresses and all have been very kind and patient. Nice atmosphere, and is very clean, bathrooms look nice. Typically a bit crowded especially at dinner times.

This is a diner – it’s not high cuisine – but it is good food with large portions. They have a large menu and it appears breakfast is served all day. The happy staff welcomed us, gave us prompt service and our food came quickly too. We both took leftovers home for tomorrow’s lunch. Yum! Photo of half the Vegetable skillet I’ll have tomorrow.

Surprisingly good restaurant. Fresh ingredients, good service, reasonable prices. A great family restaurant and very good value.
I had the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich. The tomatoes were fresh, thick cut, the bread toasted crunchy and the cheese melty. A very good sandwich.
My friends had the Garden Burger, Nachos and Banana Split. All were generous portions and well appreciated.

Food is good. I ordered three pancakes to go and got home to find they only gave me two. Not worth going back but a huge bummer. Was really looking forward to a full stack. Edit: After what comes off as a pretty condescending reply from the owner, I am leaving a picture of the receipt that shows that I ordered a full stack. But hey– you can just not take any accountability and blame the customer for ordering wrong, right? My wife and I used to love this place but I don’t think we’ll be back any time soon after this.

We had a good lunch here. It all depends on what you are looking for. They have lots of options, and I would say the food quality is two steps above a Denny’s. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean and bright.

I have lived in Arcata for over two years and I don’t know how I haven’t been here yet. On the outside it is unassuming. But to my delight I enjoyed a big burger and fries. I thought of Toni’s across the street and I feel like Pepper’s burgers are bigger, better quality, and CHEAPER and fries come with the burgers, duh, as they always should. The fries are also better, not the ore-ida nonsense you get at Toni’s.
This place has lots of options, feels like a small town diner, and food comes in big portions and at least what I got, the western bacon burger, was pretty good.
