Really impressed with He’s Cafe. I tried the shrimp noodles and the broccoli and beef, and everything tasted amazing. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the noodles were packed with flavor, and the beef was tender with fresh, crunchy broccoli. Portions were generous and the service was quick and friendly. Great quality food at a good price — easily a 5/5. Highly recommend! Almost forgot to take a photo I was too busy eating lol

When we walked in it was clean and quiet. I am from NY and this is the first real Chinese food I have had in YEARS! Service was polite and helpful. We got 2 appetizers each and meals and still spent less than $30 per person. Shrimp balls were cooked to perfection, sushi was delicious, General Tsos was also perfectly cooked although not very spicy. I love Fried Shumai and this was Top Notch! Everything was tasty, cooked perfectly and nice place. We will be back for sure!

I visited He’s Cafe during their lunchtime hours. They offer quite affordable lunch-priced specials that you just don’t find these days for a nice, hot meal. I got the General Tso’s Chicken lunch special that came with my choice of hot and sour soup and an egg roll. The flavor of the sauce was tasty. My only comment is in regards to the breading on the chicken. I like that it remained crispy even with the sauce on it, but I just prefer it with a less thick breading. Other than that, it was a good experience and definitely a bang for you buck in today’s economy!

Good place to get some good food. Their food is great. They have a wonderful lunch deal. Reasonably priced for lunch and dinner. I recommend getting their chicken egg rolls, the soups are delicious! Looking forward to my next visit.

I’m glad we took a chance and tried this restaurant, and didn’t allow reviews to be my guiding force because this tiny restaurant in Hempstead, Texas, delivered big time! The exterior is very unassuming, but the interior was actually nice, VERY clean, and the decorum was tasteful, and they had African art on the walls! Whaaaat!?!
This was the first time I’ve EVER walked into a Chinese restaurant (or any restaurant that wasn’t Black owned) and saw my culture reflected on their walls! Our waitress was polite and courteous. The food was DELICIOUS, and it was delivered to our table promptly and hot! From the hot & sour soup to the pot stickers, general tso’s chicken, lo mein, and fried rice; everything we tried (yes, we ordered a lot) was great! I don’t understand the negative reviews, but maybe after they read the negative reviews, they stepped their game up! This restaurant is in our neighborhood, so I’ll definitely dine here again. Probably more ofter than I should!

Polo Novella
So my Wife and children chose this restaurant as our post Renaissance Festival meal and man did they deliver. I like to choose local/family owned restaurants over the bigger food chain places. The service was very accommodating, relaxed atmosphere very peaceful, and the food was beyond delicious. Chicken Egg Rolls and Shrimp Egg Rolls were phenomenal. Jalapeño Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Shrimp and Broccoli were absolute .
Compliments to the chef and thanks to the staff for their hospitality. Will be back next time in Houston for sure, would be amazing if you guys had a cafe in Austin.

Very clean space inside, plenty of seating. The menu has a wide selection of food and drinks. I stopped by for a late lunch break and my food was served quickly. Definitely looking forward to trying other items on their menu!

Food is fair but cheap too. They treat customers poorly. Even if you are there on time they say lunch over. All workers sitting in corner eating together rather than serving customers. I would give them no stars for service if I could.

Just randomly popped in for lunch on my way through town. Great lunch specials regarding price and portions. The food is amazing, seems so very fresh and the wonton noodles homemade! The won ton soup was delicious! Great lunch, I’ll be back for sure.
