I’m here early doors on an icy cold night so everywhere in town is very quiet. Friendly, helpful staff are on hand to serve an excellent, freshly cooked two course meal full of flavour. Even the Cobra was on top form.

Burned my face off with a madras here the other night. It’s my first proper curry in the UK for about five years, and I couldn’t have picked a better place to get back into it. The portions are decent and the prices are good. Beer is available. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. Definitely recommended.

The food is just okay, not that significantly delicious. As much experience in Indian fine dining, I cannot say your food is delicious as the taste is a little bit adopted for westerners’ palate not so authentic.
And with the same portion of food, comparing to other takeaway-indian restaurants, you gave us less than an aggregated standard of ingredients and spices which sometimes can considered as a good situation.
And the way those telephone boys or receptionists talk on phone cannot be viewed as proper, as they shouted at customers (this is too far from a decent level)

Indian is my favourite type of cousine so I do admit that I could be a bit biased.
The three meals ordered were Chilli Masala, Murgh Josh and Chilli Fry. All the dishes contained a lot of exciting flavours. Chilli Masala was so good that I kept reaching for my friend’s portion and kept trying it, I returned a week later to have a portion myself. The Murgh Josh perfects the taste of garlic which I personally cannot reproduce at home. Chilli Fry with garlic chicken tikka was the dish I ordered and I was blown away. The garlic naan had the right texture and was also amazing to dip in the large pot of Chilli Masala sauce.
The dishes from Chef’s Specials section were all around £13 including rice, which is perfectly reasonable as the serving is large enough for two people and the quality of the food definitely lives up to and easily exceeds the price.
The friendly staff only complements the experience. I am sad that I haven’t discovered this place earlier, but from now on it will be my usual Indian of choice.

Food was excellent and service was good. The owner was very friendly, even giving my daughter and son in law a bottle of wine when he heard they had just got married.
The value for money was exceptional and the vegetarian options were varied and very good.
We will definitely be back.

I’ve had quite a few orders from this takeaway. On this occasion it wasn’t good. Has the chef changed? Chicken tikka patia: watery and no tikka flavour. Poppadoms x 3 were all smashed up. This is an expensive order and I’ll not be ordering again unless the restaurant contacts me to arrange a remedy.

The customer service was very aggressive and rude, they refused to give us tap water and we were told that we can’t share our food with each other so that they could make more profit. Food was nice but wouldn’t come again as the service just ruins the whole experience.
