This is the only Starbucks I’ve ever frequented that has managed to consistently make terrible or downright wrong coffees every single time I go there. It’s the closest location to my work so I’ve given it plenty of shots, and without fail, every time, I get a badly prepared coffee (not to mention the time a year ago when they poured coffee down the side of my car then the teenage employee tried to hand me the rest of the half-empty latte so they wouldn’t have to remake it. Like… what? C’mon).

It’s kind of crazy how vastly different the quality is just within a mile, the Starbucks on Murrell is generally pretty good. But at this location, you order an extra sweet white chocolate mocha? Well, that’s too bad, you’re getting an unflavored latte with espresso grounds at the bottom. You WANT an unflavored latte? Enjoy this delicious cup of simple syrup that is 70% foam 30% liquid. Oh, and of course there are plenty of tasty tasty coffee grounds at the bottom, just as a treat. Every order is a new surprise, even if you’re ordering the same thing each time. Three separate occasions I’ve ordered a hot coffee that is given to me straight up ice cold as soon as I try a sip right at the end of the drive thru–not an exaggeration, I genuinely don’t think they steamed the milk before putting it in the cup (or maybe reused milk they’d already steamed for another order? It’s a mystery).

I don’t know what is going on with this Starbucks, but honestly I’m just gonna start driving the extra 5 minutes to go to the one on Murrell (or maybe try out a different chain entirely). While the staff are usually nice at this location, the coffee quality is in the gutter. If I’m waiting 10 minutes and paying $7 for a cup of hot sugary bean water, at the absolute very least I don’t want to be spitting out chunks of coffee grounds.

I was excited to get Starbucks Thanksgiving morning but instead I was met with waiting unnecessarily for a cold brew with oatmilk – 2 pumps caramel. After 6 specialty drinks ordered after me were delivered, I asked about the status of mine. I was met by a man toasting bagels tell ne I would get it when it was done. The young women working drinks quickly made my order after they saw the delay and proceeded to forget the caramel. Never again.

Came through the drive through and had a terrible experience because of one of the workers. Came to the window and she immediately had an attitude and rolling her eyes, i had to ask her a question and she had a bad attitude and it showed through her facial expressions. Acted annoyed with everything i asked her. I got a grande drink and was confused as to why it was so expensive, when i asked very nicely. My drink also didn’t have cold foam on it and i ordered it and when i told her she just grabbed it and turned around.

Coming from a former Starbucks barista.. I think the rudeness coming from one of the employees at this store is unacceptable.

My mom, sister, and I went to the Starbucks on Stadium Parkway, which was the first store I worked at a couple of years ago, then continued to work at the store on Courtney in Merritt Island, Cocoa, Rockledge, and Wickham I-95, so I have had my fair share of experience and customer interactions in the fast food business. I ordered an iced sugar cookie almond milk latte, with 2% milk, and vanilla sweet cream foam; and my mom ordered a carmel ribbon crunch, which both drinks came out how they are expected to be made. My sister originally ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and one pump of honey blend at the box, and on the sticker it did say “latte” but miscommunication happens sometimes and it can be a little difficult to hear people which is understandable. My mom respectfully asked if they could possibly remake the drink as a matcha latte and not a regular latte with espresso shots. People would ask quite frequently for drinks to be remade after handing them off at window when I worked as a barista and as long as the customers were being respectful and nice about it, it was never an issue. To also clarify, there was not a line of cars wrapped around the drive thru and if that was the case I could understand it being frustrating and stressful to have to remake a drink. What I find unacceptable is them not remaking the drink as a matcha latte and just adding scoops of matcha powder into the regular latte with espresso shots, the powder was not even mixed into the drink. My sister had noticed this after we pulled out of the drive thru, so my mom went into the store and instead of asking them to remake it a third time without charge, she had completely paid for a new matcha latte, with oat milk, and one pump of the honey blend syrup. Then the lady at the drive thru, I did not catch her name or see it on her apron, but it was a middle-aged, Asian lady said to my mom in the rudest tone “What is wrong with your drink now?” I understand everyone has hard and stressful days, but I don’t think it’s okay to take out your frustrations on other people, especially customers who were not being rude to begin with. I was in complete shock and for the third or fourth time mentioning this word, think what happened today was completely unacceptable behavior and know for me personally I would never have treated someone rudely for them wanting their drink to be made correctly.

Usually love you guys but idk what has happened recently I get caffeinated drinks when I ask for decaf and when I ask to please make sure it’s decaf I get a lecture on how I decaf is actually caffeinated as if I cant feel the clear difference in my physiology after 20 years of drinking coffee…. separately when we request light ice… please stop filling the cup to the top with ice. Yall have always been on point.. please just pay more attention

Fantastic store and a wonderful staff! Really enjoyed our visit. Olyvia was awesome as our host and we learned a lot about the store and we were super impressed at the precautions they took to allow people back in the store during this time. They have the newest espresso machines- really cool!
