Nami Korean Kitchen & Sushi

Social Profile:

We are a family owned Korean restaurant with homemade side dishes, Korean dishes and home made kimchi. We use fruits instead of adding a bunch of unhealthy white sugar to our dishes which makes them authentic. When it comes to our Japanese part, we have a highly experienced and trained sushi chef, Kevin with over 15 years of experiences. Our sushi and sushi rolls are made with purple rice that is lower on carbs and higher in nutrients.

The food was absolutely phenomenal!! So fresh. The presentation was incredible. Not pictured was the golden avocado. So unique and sooo good. Also the green tea tempura cheesecake OMGGG! So good. Our server Julia W made sure we had excellent service. Nice quiet chill vibes inside. Made for a really nice dinner. My mother really enjoyed her miso chicken ramen as well. 20/10 we definitely will be back.

I was looking for a Korean restaurant in this neighborhood and went to this place after seeing its Google rating. I hadn’t eaten Korean food for three days, and I was really craving it. So I ordered kimchi stew and seafood soft tofu stew, and the moment I took a bite, it was so delicious that I couldn’t help but smile. I even ordered an extra bowl of rice! It was truly the most delicious Korean food I’ve had during my trip to the US!!! If my trip had been longer, I would have come to this restaurant every day.

What I got:

Large sapparo
Cucumber salad
Cold sake
5 pc nigiri and spicy tuna roll
Jhapchae

I’ve been wanting a cheaper sushi spot that has decent sushi for a while now since I keep running too bad spots and I finally found a spot to come to now their pricing is pretty good for good sushi. It’s not like the best sushi you’ll ever have but it’s really good for the price. And they really keep it clean in this business. My only con about my Nigiri was that two of the five pieces were a bit lukewarm but possibly could be because I came in 20 minutes after they had opened prob stuff wasn’t ready yet and up to temp the Japchae was good as well for sure lots of ingredients and a hearty amount a bit lacking in seasoning but I’d eat that any day you barely notice , cucumber salad amazinnnng here perfectly cut thin as heck letting the juice soak in and omg so good love this place I’ll def be coming back to try the other items on the menu and more nigiri

Detoured here for lunch and was happy we did. Was seated immediately and the service continued to be prompt with an authentic staff. The environmental friendly straws and accessories make this restaurant stand out from most places I’ve been to. The exceptional quality and details are hard to describe, but I believe is what makes this place unique. The food was top tier and by the audience I can tell why this place would be highly rated. This will be my new favorite sushi restaurant and I can’t wait to try more dishes.

Good Korean restaurant, great value and pricing compared to other Korean restaurants here in the valley. They serve some of the classic staples while also offering other adjacent cuisines like ramen and sushi (which they also do very well).

We tried Nami for the first time tonight and so glad we did, this is a gem in north Phoenix. My wife and I shared the Rainbow Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll as well as the 2 piece Yellowtail Sushi. We also ordered the Bulgogi Fried Rice.
The rolls and sushi were exceptional and the bulgogi was marinated perfectly.
Our server was very attentive and answered my wife’s questions regarding the various rolls available.
Overall a wonderful experience!

Excellent service and the sushi was so fresh and tasty. The Korean fried chicken was so nice and crispy plus very flavorful. Our servers were just as exceptionally amazing!
And don’t forget their convenience store, they have so many goodies to shop around in. The store owner is so sweet and kind!

Favorite place in PHX/scottsdale/cave creek. You have to try the cave creek roll and the dak-galbi. Excellent service and outstanding food.

Northern Phoenix area Korean restaurant. Good seafood pancake and tofu stew. Sashimi salad was flavorful. The amount of sashimi was rather small. Kimchi was average. But pickled radish was tasty. Would return if in the area.

This place was delicious. I had a Bento box with the spicy chicken and tuna roll. The presentation was excellent. The service was good and the atmosphere was good. This suite has been everything from a Long Wongs to Mexican food. I think this time they got it right. 4.5 stars
