We stopped by Meta Osteria for lunch and I completely forgot to take pictures of the food because we dove right in. Everything was that good.
We started with the watermelon salad, which was fresh and flavorful. The shrimp parmesan with spaghetti was excellent, and the baked clams were a great addition to the meal.
We paired it all with a glass of Douglas Hill California Merlot and Pellegrino sparkling water.
Our waiter, Willie, was a great host and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. The atmosphere feels like a true neighborhood spot, warm and inviting, like a local family restaurant.
Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Never tried Meta before, I always order the most basic thing off the menu from an Italian restaurant because chicken parm is the easiest but this was more like Salisbury steak with sauce and cheese instead, I don’t know anyone who wants a chicken cutlet this this, it was flavorful and the linguini pomodoro was good, but I just couldn’t eat the chicken that thick, you win some, you lose some, I def lost with this try, so if anyone wants to get chicken parm just know it’s going to be a thick breaded chicken breast with sauce and cheese

Let me start by saying the service was top notch and the fresh made bread with pesto and ricotta is great. So were this place fell short was on the Duck I had, Like most places it was over cocked making it a bit dried out. The rest of the meals were very good and all are at a reasonably price. Parking is a bit a problem but worth it for having a meal with friends and family or even that special date.

My husband and I hosted our son’s first birthday at Meta last Saturday without ever trying the restaurant. I can’t begin to express how much we loved everything about them!! Roberto, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from day 1. He was extremely accommodating and reassuring that everything would be perfect.
The food was outstanding and the services was great! I don’t recall the names of the gentlemen that worked the party, but they were very attentive to myself and all the guests. Everything went without a glitch.
I cannot wait to go back!

This place is lovely.
It’s super small and intimate.
The food is wonderful.
The little neck clams were flavorful and crunchy.
The rice balls were tasty and creamy.
There could have been more veal parm on the plate but still tender and tasty. Loved the sauce.
Pop Pop’s Pasta was awesome! Just the right blend of flavors and the garlic & oil has been perfected. Idk the base for the meatballs but the raisin and pine nut are virtually undetectable!

We ate here the Saturday before mother’s day. Made a reservation at 5 for 7 people(two were children under 5yrs). Highly reccomend a reservation because by the time we left it was packed! Ordered the calamari, bruschetta, pot of mussels and crab cappuccino (that was just my dads) to start. Everyone shared and it was just right. The veal chop sole was awesome and filling. The shrimp limoncello and peroni battered shrimp got good reviews from the table. The duck was very sweet and the chicken parm was hearty and delicious. Everything was paired with the Santa Maria Pinot Grigio. My mom was raving for the affagado espresso float but substituted the coffee with Kalua. Overall everyone enjoyed themselves and were happy. Our waitress was awesome as well. Susan I think.

Meta Osteria restaurant has always been our go-to spot, and they’ve just upped their game with the launch of a fantastic Happy Hour. Runs from Wednesday to Fridays, 4-6PM. We visited on opening day this past Wednesday and it was a Home Run. This made an already great dining experience even more enticing. The Happy Hour featured a nice selection of wines and beers, paired perfectly with a variety of delicious appetizers. And ALL at AFFORDABLE prices. As always, the atmosphere was lively, the staff and reception host as friendly as ever. We look forward to returning in the coming weeks. If your looking for a local cozy spot to relax and enjoy a drink and good food, Meta is your spot.

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day and we had an amazing time. The food was incredible. We had the bag of donuts appetizer that I highly recommend. For our entrees I had the snapper over risotto and he had the salmon and spinach over risotto . They were both delicious and we cleaned our plates! We also ordered a bottle of the tommasi white wine that I also recommended. This place is a great place to take someone on a date . I will definitely return one day in the future
