I ordered the Al Pastor Sopes which were small and good, not great. Now my wife ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. They were delicious . I ended up sharing some of hers after I ate my small Sopes. The service was mediocre. We tried to talk and make friends with the women attending us. But she was just doing her job and that was all she wanted. Being a tourist I would think a friendly attitude would bring us back into the restaurant. We are going to try other tacos elsewhere.
Over all I give it a 4 because of the food would be higher if we had better service.

Asked the waitress for steak tacos with just cheese no onion, she rudely acts like she can’t understand my English and my husband translated in Spanish not sure what her issue was as she clearly didn’t understand in either language as she brought it out wrong 2x…she brings my husband and sons their food but takes mine back, she comes back with my food with onions and no cheese – there was cilantro but I can handle that but I can’t stand the onions…we made a point to ask her without so if they couldn’t accommodate they should have said something… we told her the issue she brings it back a second time to the cooks and brings it back the same except with added onion- the big round onions weren’t there before…. Clearly intentional and rude…Cheese on tostada should have been melted …Very disrespectful, said that they only make the meat with onion in it, except for my son had the same kind of meat on his tostada and they did it without onion for him so I’m not quite sure why they did that to mine.. don’t waste your money here poor quality service and food

Very disappointed in the tacos from here. I ordered for pick up a variety of tacos, quesadilla & steak fries.. tacos were small and cold.. $4-$4.50 for ONE taco is ridiculous. Quesadilla was good. Steak fries were okay.
We went down to Tacobell for more tacos because it wasn’t enough food for a family of 6.. the lady at Tacobell had a better attitude than the server at this restaurant.
Also, the bag had such a tight knot that i had to rip the bag open and the food almost fell out.
Won’t be ordering from here if i come back to key west.

We have now eaten there twice and the food is excellent. They clearly make their sauces in house and it shows.
The best sopas and churros I have ever had. It was way too empty on a Saturday.
You all need to go–and soon. This place is the rare mix of quality and affordability.

Food is wayyy below average. I have never had bad fajitas before this. Steak was so overcooked it was like beef jerky and the shrimp was overcooked as well. It seemed like there was no butter or oil or sauce or seasoning on the fajitas. 3/10, barely edible. Our server was very nice though.

It was ok. The fajitas didn’t have the sear to them that gives the fajita flavor but The rice and beans were actually very good. The server never refilled our drinks, never came back to check on us. We had to track her down for more tortillas. There was only one other couple there so it’s not like they were super busy. I will give it another try though. Maybe it was just an off day.

I don’t normally post reviews but the way my family was disrespected it needs to be addressed…The waitress acted like she couldn’t understand my wife, so I translated in Spanish. she still brought out the wrong order -she knew it was wrong, as she gave my family our meals and took back my wife’s meal without us asking … came back set it down knowing it was wrong and left it, when she came back again, we told her it wasn’t what we asked for then she brought it back again with even more onions on top -after we said no onion multiple times…this was intentional…my wife refused to eat as it was wrong and they still charged us for terrible service-took off the tacos but still charged us for the toastada that was also wrong, our food was cold, we will never go back…still paid 93 dollars for 2.5 meals after the disrespect… there’s so many restaurants don’t waste your time coming here… we should have been given a full refund after the disrespectful incompetent service…if they couldn’t accommodate no onions just say so but to add more is so childish and unnecessary… Although it’s interesting they accommodated my sons, and my dinner without onions…

I so wished we had a real mx restaurant here!! From Cali originally lived in Mx … whatever protein u use Must be cooked with love and flavor for hours. And their is not a way to speak about a mistaken order makes me sad ! Good luck to them… flavor and attention to detail

Nice place for lunch
Entree’s were excellent mouth watering
My only complaint is that they charged me for extra salsa for chips and chips were like 7 $ and they didn’t even refill the chips but put it as another order
So we ended up paying more for chips and salsa than our entree
So be aware of this extra charges
