I recently visited Stan’s Donuts in Rosemont for the first time, and I can definitely see why it’s such a popular spot! The décor alone is worth the visit. I loved the fun pink theme and the colorful KitchenAid mixers displayed on the wall. It gives the whole shop such a bright, cheerful vibe.
The variety of donuts was impressive. Some of them are oversized, called pockets, and absolutely filled to the brim with deliciousness. My favorite was the blueberry cream cheese pocket, it was stuffed with cream and topped with blueberry. It was so good! They also had amazing options like Nutella, Biscoff, red velvet, and of course you can never go wrong with a classic glazed. We grabbed a few different ones just to sample since it was our first time, and every single one was delicious.
Tom was our cashier and he was very friendly. I really appreciated his great customer service. We also tried the caramel frappuccino. It didn’t taste much like coffee to me, but it was still really tasty, almost like a sweet shake.
Such a cute donut shop with a fun atmosphere. I’ll definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

We stopped by Stan’s Donuts in Rosemont close to closing time, so it is completely understandable that the selection was limited. Even with that, the donuts we did try were delicious. The Chocolate Frosted Cake Donut was fantastic and the mini donuts looked and tasted great too.
The service was also very good. The associate who helped us was polite and welcoming, even though he was wrapping up for the night. I appreciated his attitude and the customer care he showed.
The shop itself was clean and inviting, and the outside is super cute. Next time we will definitely stop by earlier in the day so we can enjoy the full variety of their donuts.

Found this gem near my hotel when I was craving donuts – and wow, what a great spot! They have a huge selection, and I went for the mini donuts. Perfect bite-sized treats and absolutely delicious.
Friendly vibe, great coffee, and so many options to choose from. Definitely a must-go when you’re in the area. I’ll be back for sure!

Their apple fritters are absolutely incredible—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with the perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon. Each bite is packed with flavor, and they’re huge! What a great stop for delicious donuts and coffee ☕️. Huge selection of donuts with something for everyone. Pricing is very clear with the colored markers on each tray and although they’re pricey the quality and taste is there. I can also recommend the cold foam cold brew but not the TB12 chocolate PB protein shake, just wasn’t for us anyway. Stans is a great place to stop in once you’ve landed in Chicago. This location is conveniently located near ORD and offers a variety of beverages, sandwiches and of course delicious donuts.
I opted to try their special banana matcha and it was delicious! Great quality matcha and addition of banana flavor.
As I arrived a little later in the afternoon the donut stock was limited but I tried one of their croissant donuts and it was delicious- not fresh but still good.
I loved the shop interior, it was super welcoming and clean.

Before the pandemic lock-down, I worked in an office daily. Infrequently, someone would bring in donuts. I would try to resist the calories by reminding myself I am thinking of the best donut I ever had. Ultimately, I’m disappointed as the donut in front of me will not meet up to my memories. One day, someone brought in Stan’s Donuts. I never heard of Stan’s. Opening the box, there was a variety of donuts, but what caught my eye was the double chocolate old-fashioned. That looked really good. When I got back to my desk with half the donut, I bit into it . My mouth was flooded with an intense chocolate flavor; it was semisweet chocolate. A second wave of a different chocolate washed over my past when I tasted the chocolate cake. During that initial bite of my first Stan’s Donut, I realized this is the best donut I have ever had; all other donuts will be measured against this donut. Today, we stopped by Stan’s Donuts in Rosemount after a Friday night dinner for dessert. We each ordered a pastry. I of course went with the double chocolate old-fashioned, others ordered the pistachio old-fashioned, the spinach and feta croissant, and the “Cruffin” (a buttery, flakey croissant stuffed with vanilla pastry cream, and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar). Everyone shared their selection. For me, my double chocolate old-fashioned was the clear winner, but the Cruffin was a close second. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bakery had plenty of comfortable seating and outdoor seating available in pleasant weather.

Ordered two hot beverages and both were cold. And when I say cold I mean Larry David Curb Your Enthusiasm dunking his nose in Mocha Joe’s coffee cold. (The drinks were delicious once warmed up at home).
Also, ordered a six-pack of Donuts. One donut selected must have been out of stock and was replaced with a different donut. However, as this was an in-store pick-up, it would have been nice to been asked my choice of replacement.
Gluten Free Gingerbread donut was a great tasting donut and one of the better GF flavors out there.

Another “not my first time here, but first Google Review” for this place! Can’t believe I don’t have a review or photos out there since their opening, but adding a recent photo of their special donuts (for the “Wicked: For Good” release) to this review. Excellent location but service can be a bit slow in the morning. Staff is always nice through it all. Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and hashbrowns are a must, but you can skip out on their specialty drinks which can be too sweet. Their rewards program is pretty decent but their mobile app can get some help. Until next time!
