If it’s gotta be fast food, this spot is a good choice.
The PCS was alright. Not as tasty as I remember. Loved the blueberry lemonade, but I ordered a large size and the size given didn’t really give off large size energy.
When asked if the tv channels could be changed due to the content being shown I was told no!
Today there was a school shooting in Florida and the news was on. I have two smaller children whom we choose not to share this type of content with.
They are aware what happened and we have spoken to them about what to do if this happens at their school. However we don’t allow them to sit in front of the tv watching it all unfold.
The least the manager could have done was turn the tv’s off while we were dinning in.
There was only one other guest dinning in and he was on his phone the whole time.
I would not rate this location family friendly.
1st the young kid in the drive thru had zero etiquette and mumbled through my order.
2nd I asked politely for sauces & salt & got neither. Had to sit and wait for them after getting my food.
3rd…now to the food. When I tell you that the potato cakes were fried to the point of being petrified this is not an exaggeration. The ends were fried so hard that they crumbled when touched. Pulling them out of the container they were cold & soaked in grease. Grease covered the sides & bottom of the container. I squeezed the middle of the cake which caused grease to seep out. They were 100% uneatable & disgusting. I parked my car and went inside. No one came to the counter or acknowledged me… I waited about 5 minutes when the same kid at the drive thru saw me, walked towards me & asked if something was wrong… With my receipt in my hand I placed the potato cakes on the counter and said, ‘These are soaked in grease & overly fried… I can’t eat them. I need to get my money back please.’ He said, ‘I can’t give you any money back.’ With no manager in sight I said well can I at least exchange them for a curly fry? Without saying a word he walked over to the fries, picked up a small curly fry and just handed it to me. No bag, no nothing. Never said a word, turned and walked away leaving the greasy potato cakes just sitting on the counter. So I ended up with a $1.99 curly fry when I paid over $2.50 for the potato cakes.
No apology or let me fix this. Never got a thank you when I went through the drive thru so I wasn’t expecting much by then, but this was bad.
Arby’s I’m sorry this is who and what you have taking care of your business. I lost out on a fun memory lane moment with my daughter and you got an extra .50 cents from me. The curly fries were better but not by much. 2 bites & the rest was thrown away. Grateful for my sandwich, but the rest was really bad.
