Reviews
Its service and environment were still good. But, the meat of the dumplings were kind of fat…
I went to this restaurant for late lunch. No difficult for parking, but no many parking spaces in the parking lot. I was quite happy with the taste and portion of the dumplings, prices of its food, and the friendliness of its staff (owner?) . I will go again and try its other food
What we had:
Garlic string beans
Cantonese shrimp dumplings
Pork and Chinese spinach dumplings
Everything was just phenomenally tasty.
My partner and I came in around 8:00 PM, and unfortunately the food and service were both extremely poor. Nearly all of the dishes we received were either cold, burnt, or poorly prepared. Because of this, we were unable to eat any of the food that was brought to our table.
For example, the chow mein noodles were very watery and lacked flavor, and the chicken and chive dumplings had a strong seafood-like smell and appeared watery and poorly made. Overall the dishes looked unappetizing and did not seem properly prepared.
We brought these concerns to our server and politely explained that the food did not seem right. Since we had not eaten any of it, we asked if we could either receive replacement dishes or a refund. Unfortunately, the server refused to accommodate us and told us that the food was “fine,” without offering any solution.
We left very disappointed, especially because we had not eaten any of the food and were still charged for the full meal. We simply wanted either properly prepared food or a refund, which seems like a reasonable request in this situation.
I hope the management can look into this issue and address the quality of both the food and the customer service so other customers do not have the same experience.
I wasn’t expecting much. But this place blew me away.
We ordered the BBQ pork steamed bun, pork dumpling with dill, and Shanghai soup dumpling (6) They were flavorful and flesh.
We also had Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet and creamy. But the lychee juice was pretty good. The staff was welcoming. And the whole place felt cozy and inviting. Definitely worth a stop!
Crab soup dumplings are worth the taste and must try
Chilli oil wantons tasted better with right amount of spice added
