While I appreciated the attentive service, the food was absolutely disappointing! Their Islands fries were too salty, hamburger patty was not juicy, and Tikki chicken tender looked like frozen food. The restaurant had a smell that reminded me of a bathroom. The restaurant should smell like fries and hamburger, but instead it had a smell that turned me off.

I was tempted to give 4 stars because our server read our minds and was nice and cute, but my Shorebird was a bit too salty. The fries are actually pretty good! They are quite different from most fries I’ve had. Imagine if In N Out actually made good fries! I also had the Kona Pie which looks better in the picture than in real life and doesn’t taste as good as you’d think. I mean there’s too much whipped cream! Why does America have such a bizarre love affair with it? They drizzle it in cheap fudge tasting chocolate. The mocha ice cream and nuts are very good though. The passion fruit iced tea was good. We got a comfortable booth with a view of the outside world. There a several tv sets with surfer footage and sports programs. The menus are on the table already. The entrance from the parking structure can be an accident waiting to happen so read the door! Make sure you read it! Parking is in an adjacent structure and is validated.

We arrived at a good time. There was no wait to be seated. Our waiter Seth left a lot to be desired in terms of customer service. Unfortunately, we had to keep asking a young Latina (in a light blue shirt)for the basics. Such things as water, napkins, ketchup… I wish I could’ve tipped her instead of Seth.

This is one of my family’s favorite burger places. Got the Maui Burger, and it was jammed with avocado. Sweet potato fries are so good. I just wish they weren’t so expensive to add. The daughter got the sliders, wife got the wings, and they were perfectly spicy. The guacamole and chips are a good appetizer, but the salsa taste extremely store bought from a can. The pineapple butter cake is such a good dessert. I recommend it. Tried the blond beer, and it was just ok. The oreo shake was also lacking.
The parking structure, specifically the Island section now has 4 spots that are for pickup. So very limited in the section, but its a big parking structure so I’m sure you can find a spot. Oh and they validate.

My boyfriend said their burger is delicious, but I’m not a burger person, so I ordered wings and a beach bowl while my boyfriend ordered a burger. Portion was large which we liked it and of course food was good.
I like how there is a parking structure right next to the restaurant. The first two hours are free with validation.

They were exceptionally busy on the night and we visited, so it took about 45 minutes to get our food even on a weeknight. But they are kind and polite people. I think we just got them on a bad night.

Their burgers are great, they have good beer selection. Used to come here just for burgers, but their wings are great too! Now I go to get both wings and a burger. Their deserts are good as well, they come in a share size or for one person, their artichoke dip is good, not the best but it’ll open your appetite. It just sucks that fries aren’t bottomless anymore. Now you have to pay for them if you want more. Overall great restaurant though, clean and following covid procedures. I’m usually here every other week or so. Parking is located next to the restaurant, it’s a parking structure. First 2 hours free with validation!

Today is New year’s Eve and we decided to eat at Island’s restaurant in Glendale, mostly because, it’s just a nice place to get some really good food at a fair price. You can still treat the family to a night out. Isaiah was the first person we met he was super professional and friendly. Aileen was our waitress and she was awesome. Although she was very busy, her temperament was warm, welcoming and friendly. She frequently checked our table making sure all our needs were being met. I noticed that there was really good teamwork between staff members today. Brianna, Andrew and Grayson, really worked hard and with the proper attitude. They my have had New Year’s Eve plans, but they seemed genuinely pleased to be working. Although, I personally believe that they could have let the staff off early six or eight would have been a nice gesture. I do thank all of you at Island’s, the cooks, bartenders, servers and the managers. I recommend this business to anyone.
