Place was horrible. Worst wanna be mexican “food” I’ve ever had. Started out with the rude old waitress when we sat down she asked for drinks my wife asked for a margarita she rudely said well what kind. My wife said oh i guess I’ll need a drink menu then. We had 4 people total. She came back asked if we were ready, my wife said I’ll need to see the drink menu please. She says yea i guess I’ll have to go back and get it. Um yea that’s what you left for, so for our whole dinner we got rude comments and a fake nice. The food was horrible i got fajitas so did my brother with steak, shrimp, and chicken all the food was not good you got a cheap steak with maybe 4 pieces, 3 shrimp, and maybe 10 pieces of chicken. Rice was bland, beans were disgusting, cheese was old not one of us had anything good to say about the dining experience. It was my brothers bday so i took him out it was 200 dollars for garbage food. Don’t waste your time going here listen to the low reviews the good ones have to be friends. We go to Bumpers and enjoy it love the lasagne and other meals but they definitely need to take the Bumpers name off that other restaurant it definitely won’t last.

Walked in and placed our drink orders and waited an hour, just for us to go up and ASK the bartender for our drinks, when my father went up, the bartender spilled a margarita all over his face and arm and while he was cleaning it, the BARTENDER TOLD MY FATHER “Sir youre playing this up” while laughing even though he was just cleaning himself off. On top of that, food took 2 hours. They have 1 waiter doing all of the tables by herself and food was 2/10 at most.

My husband and I went to Dos Bumpers to try it out. We waited 20 minutes just to take an order on a cocktail. 30 minutes until we got the cocktails and 1 hour just to contact a server about where our food was. She then told us that the wait is usually 2 hours for a meal! We paid the cocktail bill and left. This is ridiculous. I suggest that they just make it a bar with no food menu. Im sorry but the servers….not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Ugh…. never going back… how embarrassing.

This was our second visit thinking maybe food, drinks improved but that was not the case. The food is just ok, which is typically to be expected for waterfront atmosphere. My daughter had the tacos and I had the Fiesta bowl salad, which was mostly lettuce. Tacos were palatable; my husband ate the Power Bowl with Mahi Mahi. The fish was strong smelling when it arrived but unexpectedly mild in the dish. Hubby had 2 beers and we drank ice tea. Bill was $75, pricey especially since they tack on a 3 percent convenience fee. Cabana Blue does as well, the new norm I guess, but much more appetizing meals. Don’t think we will return.

A work in progress. Our server Rachel was friendly & hard working. She took great care of us. We started out with margaritas on the rocks. They were ok, but we’ve had better elsewhere. Rachel started us out with tortilla chips & salsa which were pretty good. A more authentic Mexican salsa would be nice in the future.
Our guys ordered typical American orders, Ribs & brisket burger. They loved their meals. Us gals had chimichangas. They were pretty good, although the sour cream & refried beans were a bit tasteless.
We were told the renovations inside will start end of summer.

Absolutely amazing food, great Katina Tex. Mix list of cocktail drinks actually highly recommended. Amazing atmosphere and great bartending.

When I walked in the third person who saw me finally asked if I was dining in. To much sause on the ribs drowns the actual taste of the meat itself. I left half of my food on the plate. Not worth taking home. Fries were the only decent thing out of the meal. Coleslaw was even crappy. Will not be returning. Not worth telling my friends.

Wife and I had the 10$ house margarita.. wasn’t any good .. I would’ve thought being a Mexican restaurant , It would’ve been a fantastic margarita. We did not eat just because the reviews were not that good. It’s only a Canal not lake front restaurant/bar..
