I AM A CHICKEN GIZZARD AFICIONADO! I am left wanting nothing more than to order from Chester’s again and AGAIN! Not only were the gizzards perfect but so was EVERYTHING else!!! I got chicken gizzards, fried corn on the cob, potato wedges, and mashed potatoes w/ white gravy. The pictures and my testimony speak for themselves. Don’t hesitate; yourself a favor and order NOW!
I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu by why would I when I’ve found (damn near) the perfect gizzard here in Buffalo. I’ve ordered from a few other places here in town but Chester’s is far better above everyone else. I moved to Buffalo in June from the DEEP south where gizzards are a family tradition and community staple. Chester’s chicken gizzards and stellar side dishes will be a new staple and personal favorite for some time to come.
The management is clearly doing something VERY right! They’re communication skills and prompt response to an online hiccup (via Door Dash) shows clearly how much quality product and genuine customer service matters in their establishment. Keep up the good work guys!

Very disappointing experience. The pizza I received looked old and reheated, and it was delivered without a pizza box, which is completely unacceptable for food safety and hygiene. The quality was far below expectations, and it honestly felt like leftover food rather than something freshly made.
This is not how a restaurant should treat customers. I would not recommend ordering from this place unless they seriously improve their food quality and packaging standards.

I’ll be honest I ordered this as a whim from GrubHub with not very high expectations, but was intrigued by the prices, and to say I was far from disappointment is an understatement.
I’ve tried a few different things now so this review will encompass them all.
I’ve had their crispy chicken sandwich, the cheeseburger, and their chicken pizza and I enjoyed them all! Though not equally. The chicken sandwich was a real stand out with the signature sauce that they put on it. The burger was cooked to the right temperature and tasted great and the pizza was good though I would like a little more chicken scattered across it. The only side I’ve had from here was the french fries and they were fine.
I’d recommend given this place to try and if you were going to go once go for the crispy chicken sandwich !

Ordered 8 fried chicken meal set that come with 2 side dishes.. the side dishes are in a very big portion. The fried chickens are so tasty… the owner also very nice guy, he let us pray in his other shop….

Ordered for the first time through grub hub and it is, everything is…so good. The chicken on a stick is perfectly seasoned and cooked just, well, perfectly. the sauce on the sweet heat bites is really good, i consider myself moderately tolerant of spicy and these have just enough before they get to too hot for me.
But the haddock is my favorite so far. It is exactly what I want when I think of fried haddock, not too heavy but you know youre eating fried fish.
Not to mention one of the items I ordered was unavailable and they called to ask what I’d like instead which I thought was very nice. I ordered way too much but im glad i did and I’ll be ordering again for sure.

The food was good and filling. I got the 4 super tender meal and while the tenders were good the Mac and cheese was amazing.

I’ve been a regular customer at Chester’s for years, but this recent visit was extremely disappointing. We ordered a 12-piece chicken meal and for the first time, were told we had to pay for sauces—even though they’ve always been complimentary with the chicken. We spent 6 dollars on sauces that we are supposed to be given complimentary. If this is a new policy, it should be clearly displayed and communicated, not brought up at the last minute. I called ahead to place the order, and the man who answered the phone was rude and dismissive. He didn’t ask for a name on the order, yet when I arrived, he questioned me about it in an impatient tone. The cashier was also unprofessional and acted as if serving us was an inconvenience. It’s frustrating to spend good money at a place that can’t even offer basic customer respect. We’re not buying for free, we spend our hard earnings. Your staff needs proper training in communication and customer service.

Different locations with different prices. That’s very unprofessional. Dont go here. They charge for sauces separately regardless of what item you buy. Total scam. Go to the one on Ontario street if you want to be treated like human and get the sauce that comes with the food.

I heard good reviews about their chicken and went to try. It was actually very good and crunchy, but I hoped it would be a bit more juicy. Loved the honey glazed biscuit, though. The staff were friendly and I know a few of them are a nice people.
