LOVE this place! The chicken is delicious and very well balanced. The plantains and yuka are also very delicious, especially the tres leches cake. Solid portion sizes for the price. Will definitely come again and would highly recommend!

The rotisserie chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, with crispy skin and generous portions. The sides were just as impressive, flavorful rice, fresh salad, and sauces that tied everything together beautifully. Everything tasted homemade and satisfying.

The food was very good and so were the two workers there. Good service. The owner tho has predatory fees. VA has 6% taxes, the owner charges 10% CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! Also the predetermined 18%, 22% and 25% suggested tip is a bit excessive. You can tell the owner is trying to squeeze every penny he can. Unfortunate that it happens here. Do better. Also jalaya is not a word at least in the peruvian cuisine since its a PERUVIAN restaurant.

Fantastic Peruvian chicken. Great customer service as well. Been here multiple times. The chicken was cooked properly and juicy and tender on inside. The sauces especially the yellow one was really good pairing. Soda selection is good too, pairs well with the food flavours.

Hello, I went to this place on a whim. Happened to be passing it on my way home from work and went “hey, I found a new place.” The funny thing is, I thought they just opened. But after chatting with the young lady at the window she stated they’ve been open for a while. I think she said 2008. The service was great at the window. The people were very friendly went picking up my food.
Now, let’s get down to it. I ordered half chicken with two sides. For the money good deal, plenty of food. I paid about $16. The chicken was very tasty and tender. My salad was fresh and I enjoyed my plantains. I would stop here again. Sorry no pics I finished it all:)

Last night, I went to Mi Rico Peru with my kids, and we were absolutely blown away! The chicken was incredibly flavorful — truly a level above what you typically find, even with so many chicken restaurants around. We’ve definitely found *our go-to spot* from now on.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which added a lot to the experience. But what stood out to me the most was the friendliness of the staff. The young lady who manages the place was so positive and kind. She took the time to explain the dishes in detail, which I really appreciated. Her warm attitude made a big difference.
I’m someone who values good service — I’ve walked out of restaurants before just because of cold or unfriendly staff. That wasn’t the case here at all. At Mi Rico Peru, not only was the food fantastic, but we also felt genuinely welcomed.
It’s such a relief to finally have a place like this in my neighborhood — delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and service with a smile. Highly recommended!
