We visited Spice 7 for the first time after work and placed a to-go order around 8:45 pm, just before closing. Despite the late hour, the staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming, with no hesitation in taking our order.
My coworker ordered the chicken biryani, and I had the palak paneer with naan and rice. The portions were generous. The palak paneer with rice could easily serve two people and the value for the amount of food was excellent.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and still hot even after our 40 minute drive home.
What stood out most was the kindness of the employees. Even after a long day, they were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently dined at Spice 7 and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern touch that still felt authentic and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had. The sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — not overly sweet, not overly spicy, just layered with deep, aromatic flavour. The chicken was tender, well-marinated, and cooked perfectly. You could really taste the blend of spices without any one flavour overpowering the others. Paired with fresh naan and rice, it was absolutely delicious.
The portion size was generous and well worth the price. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavourful Indian food in a welcoming setting, Spice 7 is definitely worth visiting. I’ll absolutely be coming back to try more dishes!

When I spotted it on the menu, I felt an irresistible urge to order it. The moment it arrived at my table, I couldn’t wait to take a bite. The paratha was delightfully crispy on the outside, making it so appealing to the eye. As I took my first bite, I was greeted with a warm filling of spiced potatoes that had a perfect mix of spices. Each flavor blended together beautifully, creating a taste that was rich and satisfying. The contrast between the crispy outside and the soft, flavorful inside made it a delightful experience. I also appreciated the fact that it was not too oily, allowing me to taste all the different flavors clearly. I wholeheartedly recommend this dish to anyone looking for something delicious. For me, it deserves a perfect score of 10 out of 10. It was truly a memorable meal that I look forward to enjoying again!

I recently had breakfast at Spice 7 Restaurant and it was a great experience. We ordered chole bhature and paranthas, and everything was fresh, hot, and full of authentic flavor. The chole was perfectly spiced and the bhature were soft and fluffy.

I hadn’t expected it to be so good since I’m on the island, and it’s a small town. But no kidding, best Indian food I’ve had since I moved to Vancouver, earlier this year from Brampton. I’ve been craving solid Desi food and I’ve finally found it.
I asked them for their best chicken dish and they recommend the chicken labadar so I ordered it along with a garlic naan. It was wonderful, creamy, and I asked for it spicy and they delivered.
The garlic naan was also proper, loads of garlic as it should be and perfectly pillowy.
The staff are super nice, did a wonderful job and I will recommend any friend I know that passes by Port Alberni to visit!

Ordered the spicy hot butter chicken, but it was very sweet instead of spicy. Didn’t like the food at all. The service was good, but unfortunately, that’s the only positive. I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

We had such a great experience here. We had the pleasure of being served by the owner herself- Nidhi. She was genuinely friendly and super welcoming. We ordered paneer labadar and dal makhani with garlic naan and tandoori rotis. Great quality of food and taste was outstanding. The bill was very reasonable too! Spice level was perfect in the dishes and quantities were generous too.

Well as you walk in the first impression is very nice, it’s warm and welcoming, decorated very classy a great place for a dinner date!! The food was amazing and fresh! You could hear the skillets sizzling by you filling the room with delicious spices. The staff were very friendly and happy to help me with all my questions and requests. Most def will be coming back here again.
