This establishment takes me back to Mexico fell!! Authentic family owned and ran,tortillas are like moms homemade by hand,everything’s delicious and homemade,the store front is walking into the real tortilla home factory!!! Owners are pleasantly hometown people,they care greatly to satisfying detail in their food products,from menudo to bakery from scratch,go meet them and have a great meal like family , pick up is fast and curious, I would pay any price! Just to taste home again, but prices are reasonable, New menu located in front! Not to mention the building is original balch springs old historical building from the 1960’s ,I like to use it in photography, go see!! I love it!!! Your always welcome! Say hello to a original mexicano!! Your welcome, the garden says Happy Easter families!and a side addition.son sells awesome cars individually.psymentd too! Only the cool rides tho! Come see!! And eat authentic!!! Welcome!!

Hole in the wall establishment with great tasting food. Had breakfast, the usual eggs with something. Fantastic. Freshly made tortillas, corn and flour. They even sell daily packaged tortillas. Can’t get much better. I rarely eat beans but these were like grandma’s mmmmm. Rice was extraordinary. Salsa was… Hot and sabory.
Barely room for a few tables so hurry there. Family owned and operated.

Horrible experience! Bought birria for family breakfast, but it was mostly fat and grease. Almost a pound of it! Poor service from cashiers too. Got $17.65 refund for the fat pieces. Not worth it.

The lady behind me baught a menudo and it was full. The cashier said its because thats how it is with the caldo .
One piece of beef and no vegtabes for 15 bucks. Just watch out guys because that caldo de res is more expensive. Even tho you buying the cup size.
Dont buy here. Dont get ripped off

Ordered from here this morning because of the good reviews and boy was I disappointed. They lady on the phone wasn’t friendly but that’s easy to overlook if the food had been good I asked for pozole and they gave me menudo. Yuck.. she said she would include tortillas but she didn’t. I ordered gorditas de fajita and they were plain tasting. The pork tamales were decent but the chicken tamales were dry. I was rushed the whole time I was ordering. There is too much competition in the area for me to be eating here again.

This place used to be the spot to get great menudo but here lately they have been getting lazy with it! Last month we had some from there and it tasted like spoiled meat and slimy . Now today the taste was better but the size of the meat were too big to fit in a person’s mouth. You are better buying a small than a large because you can only feed 2 people with the large.half caldo and half large chunks at least add more corn!
