My family often goes to the frandor location and it’s great. This East Lansing location sucks. We ordered takeout…fries and pita wraps. The fries were soggy and bland. The pita wraps were ok but the lettuce was brown and limp. The worst though was the pickle fries. A pile of fry batter with some cucumber skins mixed in. Not even edible. Never again.

Lou Ha’s is an absolute gem and easily one of my favorite spots around. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is top-tier. A huge shoutout goes to the manager, Brian, who truly runs the place like a pro. He’s friendly, attentive, and makes sure everything is running smoothly while making guests feel genuinely appreciated. You can tell he cares about both the staff and the customers, and it really shows in the overall experience.
The bar is just as impressive thanks to Stan, an incredibly skilled bartender who knows exactly how to keep the drinks flowing and the vibe just right. The $3 doubles are an unbeatable deal and dangerously good — perfectly mixed and always poured with a smile.
And then there’s the food. Dave, the cook, absolutely crushes it in the kitchen. The chicken tenders are next-level amazing: crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. They’re honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere and keep me coming back again and again.
Between the outstanding management, talented staff, great drink specials, and fantastic food, Lou Ha’s deserves every bit of this 5-star rating. Highly recommend stopping by — you won’t be disappointed!

I got Lou and Harry’s for takeout and tried a variety of items. I will say that the pricing is very fair and is a great bang for your buck! The Rodeo burger was about what I expected. The toppings create a nice taste that is satisfying. The gyro, which is more what they’re known for, was great! The meat was cooked perfectly. The boneless wings, while they had great flavor, were a bit off in texture. They didn’t have that crisp on the outside that I expected. However, part of that could be because it sat awhile on the ride home because I got it to go. Parking is not great in the East Lansing area, but like most businesses on Grand River, Lou and Harry’s is set up for a lot of foot traffic. There is a parking garage nearby if you need it. At the end of the day, Lou and Harry’s offers a great bang for your buck in a casual atmosphere that is open late.

I had an awesome experience at Lou and Harry’s Bar & Grill! My bartender Stanley was fantastic he made an excellent mimosa, honestly one of the best I’ve had. The service was friendly and attentive the entire time.
I ordered the Tommy Pita and it was amazing packed with flavor and super fresh. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff made the visit feel welcoming.
I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend, especially if Stanley’s behind the bar!

It is the first time I order from this place and my order came abit late, but the gyro chicken was good and the fries abit oily. The cheesesteak was salty so it affected the taste of the meat but the bun was so soft and fresh. They added alot of ketchup, mustard and Mayo for me which is great. I think four stars is enough for this place. Somewhat recommended.

I brought my kid here for a late lunch on a Monday when school was not in session, so it was almost empty. Our server was great, the food was solid, and we had our pick of the tables. We were pleased with the food and service and can only imagine how packed it gets on the weekend when the students are here for the semester.

I sat in this establishment for 30 mins. My daughter and I were greeted and that’s it. It was a work meeting/training prior to our arrival so all employees were there. They took up the whole bar and the only two employees that seemed to be on the clock were not attentive. The cook got food for an employee at the bar and talked to them. 15 mins in I asked for service and I was told I had to come to the bar if I wanted to order. The bar was full of staff members. I finally walk up to the bar when a couple of people left. The bartender took a order from an employee that walked up and walked in front of me. Then he sits at the bar. I was still standing waiting then one of the girls at the bar (a employee) asked the waitress/bartender for a draft and she proceeded to get her drink and ignored me standing there. I walk off and put my coat on then she asks can she get us anything…This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been here a few times with no issues but today makes me never want to go back again. They should’ve stayed closed if nobody wanted to work and they were just going to serve the employees.

I was one of the only 2 customers waiting to order and sat and waited 30 minutes and wasn’t even asked if I would like to start off with anything to drink , if it’s a bar be a bar but if it’s labeled as a restaurant there should be service as if it is a restaurant! Hire more people with better customer service not people ready to stand behind the bar and look
