First time here and thoroughly impressed! Our server (sweet lady – totally forgot her name) was so kind.
Came here with my Aunt and her friend and we each ordered a Pupusa – they were delicious! We also got some sort of lemonade but I forgot what it was already – you can tell it was a handmade fruit juice of some kind.
It’s cute, dainty, very warm and cozy inside. It is definitely worth the $$ and stopping by to try the food!!

Literally the best restaurant I have ever gone to. Every single bite is a burst of flavor. Putting it into words is difficult because it’s just that good. Heavenly honestly. Alex is the sweetest and Chef Néstor knows how to set the vibe. He also cares to your food restrictions, like who does that?!I never leave reviews but this place deserves a couple Michelin stars. Y’all need to “Gobble this”.

Gobble This has a lot of character. The outside has really cool art and design and it’s located on a quiet chill block which made it perfect for our meal.
The food portions were small but really enjoyable. I wouldn’t come here if you have a big appetite but the food we did have definitely hit the spot.
The reason I gave it three stars is because of the service. It started out great but one of my friends ordered the diablo shrimp with a corn topper because she has a gluten intolerance. We were told this wouldn’t be a problem but when the food came out it was made with a wheat flour topper. She let the server know and they said they would remake it. Instead of remaking the entire meal they only replaced the topper for a corn one.
Knowing about the risk of cross examination, we all expected the full meal would be remade. The server went on to say that she only meant that they would replace the topper and that led into an awkward conversation about the difference between an allergy and intolerance. At that point we decided to finish our meals and leave so that my friend could eat somewhere else without the risk of contamination. Unfortunately this really put a damper on the whole experience.
The food we did have was good and we enjoyed the environment for a short time we were there. I would just advise their staff to not argue with customers and try their best to accommodate customers who may have dietary restrictions so that they feel safe and satisfied with their meal and experience.

This little restaurant has three or four outdoor tables and a few more inside, better suited for larger groups. It was nicely decorated with a Christmas vibe and had a seasonal menu. Pupusas (2 units) were delicious and I highly recommend green chile filling. They are made to order and worth the 20-minute wait. Agua fresca was good too. Service was attentive.

Nice and cozy when you sit all the way in the back. Or if the weather permits, sit outside. Pupusas were quite tasty. Loads of cheese. The fermented cabbage was a bit too vinegary for my palate. The beans and rice were prepared with savory spices. And the green dipping sauce was very mild. All in all a good place for lunch.

This is my second time coming back to Gobble This in Old Town Albuquerque, and it definitely won’t be my last.
The first time I ended up here completely by chance, knowing absolutely nothing about Salvadoran cuisine and now I’m officially a fan.
The food is made fresh to order, and you can truly taste the difference. Today I had the pupusa with chicharrones: incredibly flavorful and not heavy at all. Last time we tried the shrimps and the tacos, and everything was just as amazing.
And the agua fresca? The best I’ve ever had.
Highly recommend if you’re in Old Town!

Delicious tacos, but the agua fresca was absolutely amazing! Best drink ever and I brought a growler home…it was fun to sit outside on a beautiful day!

I stopped into Gobble This near closing time and it immediately felt warm and homey. Alex was awesome and answered all my questions. I’d never had pupusas before and these were unreal. Even the beans and rice were so good they kind of stunned me. My sister had the tamales and cleaned her plate. The portions were just right. The menu is small in the best way, since it usually means everything on it is going to be great, and that was true here. My only regret is that I don’t live in town because I’d try everything and absolutely become a regular. Chef Nestor’s food is something I won’t forget.

I came in today to order a pupusa to go. I got spinach and green chili. It came with rice and beans on the side, as well as yuca fries, and cabbage. The food was absolutely delicious. I’d give it a 10 out of 10; the service was great. The dipping salsa for the pupusa was excellent as well. Thank you so much. May God bless you all.
