We were going across the country over Christmas and stopped here for lunch there was a girl that took care of us and I asked her how long she worked there and she said around 4 years. She did a great job taking care of us and getting our food fairly quick and the food was delicious and if I would get back in the area I would stop again. If you are looking for a place to eat try this place.

This is your perfect Small Town restaurant. Most of the food is homemade. I tasted a packet gravy but other than that it was great! They have coconut cream pie . Whether you live in Ellsinore or passing through, it’s great for a quick bite to eat. Their sign says they are open 7 days a week but they are closed on Mondays. The bathrooms are spotless and very well decorated. I recommend stopping here for a quick bite or for whole family.

Son ordered the The Bomb Diggety Burger.
I ordered the fish.
Both are worth it. The only complaint i have is the price for a side to come with the Burger, and for $3, well you see the pic of the fried okra it is self-explanatory. Everything else is amazing and worth the price.

1st off they need some music or something going on the back ground. My burger was overcooked and dry. They give you chips with the burger, didn’t ask me if I wanted them, I guess there’s no options for anything else. Anyway the bread was hard and dry too they over toasted it. This was my first and last time here. Oh yeah one last thing the coffee was like drinking tar and she didn’t bring me a water like most restaurants do when you order coffee.

Saturday night they had a special, catfish, shrimp, frog legs, french fries and hush puppies. Let me tell you, the plate was heaping with food, and it was so good. They also have homemade pies, deserts to finish out a fantastic meal. The price is absolutely reasonable and the service is outstanding. If you haven’t made this place a regular, you are missing out.

It’s always great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. They have new menus (same great food) and prices went up a bit recently.

Best fish in a 50 mile radius! Seasoned perfectly and not greasy. Homemade desserts such as meringue pies and variety of cakes! Reasonably priced food! Friendly service! Patriotic, with a wall dedicated to local veterans. Pleasant atmosphere.

Meet me at D’s! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, D’s is incredible. Their breakfast menu is pretty straightforward country cooking and I mean that in the best-possible way. Their lunch and dinner options are pretty diverse for a country café, but everything they do, they do very well. Their sandwiches, steaks, and chicken are fantastic, but the headline at dinner is the catfish! With all the traditional fixings on the side, D’s catfish is up there with the best in the business. No lunch or dinner is complete without a slice of their incredible desserts. It varies from day to day, but every pie and cake that comes from their kitchen is the perfect ending to a fine meal. Honestly, their dessert servings are so ample, my wife and I usually share one. I don’t think much about what a good meal costs, but I feel like D’s prices are very competitive, considering the quality of their fare.

A great little stop for lunch! Chicken fried chicken is delicious, rolls are FRESH yeast and HUGE! If you find yourself near here around a meal time, stop in! Nice and clean place too.
