Excellent! The harvest salad is the perfect blend of savory and sweet. It’s a nice hearty salad perfect for fall. The aloha and caesar salad are also delicious! I love having a quick healthy alternative to typical fast food.

We ordered SD for a business lunch on door dash and my order was not delivered. Upon calling and informing the staff, the manager took it upon herself to deliver the order herself, free of charge and also gave me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience. Highly recommend. Lunch was delicious.

I ordered the Burrito Bowl for myself and the Rueben Sandwich w/ Coleslaw on the side. EXCELLENT. Both were so good. I am definitely a repeat customer.

What an excellent sandwich, perfectly made and tasty. Too bad the deli is stuck in an aging mall, which at least has a few fun antique stores.

Spartan Deli has a great variety of fresh options. They truly care about the quality of their food and make their sauces from scratch. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I love stopping by for lunch.

This place was recommended by a coworker, and likely the best place for lunch in the small mall. I ordered one of their daily special bowls, the “Cluck” which was a rice bowl with seasoned chicken, rice, and some accruements, along with a “Spartan melt” for dinner. The “Cluck” dish was good, but about half a decent lunch in size, and for the price, that is completely unacceptable. Some other patrons I overheard while waiting for my order indicated to each other that they had each ordered either two wraps or a wrap and a bowl for lunch to have enough food (this worried me because they were both petite fit women, not body-builders). It turns out they were correct (assuming that they were locals or regulars and therefore know better) because the bowl was literally one-third to one-half a dish. It was good, but it was served in a full take-out container and occupied like an eighth the volume of a comparable panda-express 2-protein container. The sandwich actually weighed more than the bowl despite being a little light in it’s own right, and it was not being accompanied with anything: no fruit, chips, or fries, just full price for an unaccompanied sandwich. This place has potential, but they didn’t have an option to substitute cauliflower rice for regular rice (at this price that should be assumed) nor were any servings adequate, remotely for the price or quality. Suffice to say this was a disappointing restaurant that would work inside a sports arena or remote gas station, not a mall in town where one could get 3 times the food from culvers for the same price, including a full salad for equal health considerations. The only redeeming factor of Spartan Deli is that there is a rad boardgame/cardgame/tabletop store across the hallway.

Decent food but they messed my order up and didn’t really care about it. Bummer.

Visited an old friend from college and had lunch here. Amazing staff and food and is now a go-to place whenever I’m visiting Grand Rapids.
