Wow, wow, wow. We are not from this area, just visiting at the campground up the road. You take your chances when you pick from google. But this place wins in all areas. Most important was our waiter, Travis T-2. He was the perfect blend of help, attentive yet not annoying. We will come here again, especially if we can hang out with T-2. It was kind of crowded last night, and loud. So happy to learn from T-2 that it was graduation night and not usually so loud. I had the meatloaf and garlic mashed, while my husband built his own burger, which he said was insanely good. Better than any burger he remembers. Appetizer of chicken strips in a honey barbecue. Those I would drive for alone. The spinach/artichoke dip was pheomenol and is made fresh daily. So, so good.

A coworker and I stopped in to get food to go and we’re both pleasantly surprised. I’ve been coming up to Hamilton for a couple years for work and have avoided this place despite its proximity to my job due it the “bar food stigma”. And it’s been MY loss. We ordered the steak salad and I got their balsamic dressing. The veggies were fresh and the steak was cooked well. Slightly more done than I prefer, but it was tender and flavorful. The dressing was amazing too. The salads came with a couple of garlic rolls that we weren’t expecting and they were a tasty addition to our lunch! We will absolutely be going back!

We went there because it was suggested by our bed and breakfast hosts. It was a hit. They give you way more wings than our restaurants in Florida. And they were delicious. My sister got the Philly cheese steak and loved it.

Loved everything about this place. Warm welcoming staff, delicious fresh food & Travis, our server bartender was a doll. We’re gonna drive the 45 minutes to Hamilton to hang out here sometime on the weekend when Travis works!

Have had two meals here, one at the bar and one in the dining room. Service at the bar was better than the dining room. Servers spent a lot of time chatting instead of making rounds in the dining room, but it wasnt too bad. Food is very tasty. Good specials. Really love the brussel sprouts.

Food was good, the server was nice. My biggest issue was that they split our group even though there was a perfect fine table for our group of nine people. First argument was that they wanted to “ leave it open just in case a bigger group showed,” then they didn’t “have enough chairs,” and finally they said there was a “big party coming in later.” That sounds like a reservation to me. Which is fair. But before my group arrived we called ahead and asked to make a reservation, and we were turned down by the person on the phone because they “don’t allow reservations.”
It just felt like double standards to me.
