This place hole in the wall but has been established 1990.
Don’t let the look of the outside decive you ! The food is excellent and homemade. The flour tortillas are homemade and are burrito size!! The red sauce they give your for your chips is warm and delicious!

Haven’t been in years & decided to go today ( Saturday) because the homemade tortillas caught our eye’s. Got a breakfast taco waitress didn’t say it comes on a corn tortilla only for breakfast tacos so that was a mistake. Ordered menudo didn’t have any flavor , mistake. Prices on menu weren’t right waitress said new menu and higher prices coming Monday so was charged new higher prices , mistake. So we will not be going back .

This place has gone down hill in the last 4 years. I called in a order (4 burritos) they told me it was a 30 minute wait. I showed up about 20 minutes later, the parking lot was empty, they only had 2 customers inside, I still had to wait to finish my burritos. I got home with no salsa, 3 burritos were so cold the cheese didnt even melt, the tortillas was hard, and over all no flavor on anything, 4th burrito was decent. Lost my business.

The food had no flavor. Store bought tortillas. Waitress acted like she hated her job. The prices are ridiculously expensive. So many better places in Waco to go to especially for the price. Do not recommend whatsoever.

I went here a week ago during lunch. I ordered the fajitas and shrimp for 12$ off of the menu given to me. The fajitas were dry and unflavored. I ate the shrimp and beans. The rice was sticky. I told my coworkers I will never order fajitas here again. When I checked out the cashier charged me 16 for my plate. I said no the menu said 12 and I would had most definitely ordered something else because the fajitas were unedible. She said they gave me the old menu because they are out of the new ones. I said okay, then why didn’t the waitress tell me that. I asked to talk to the manager. Tell me why the manager was my waitress. I asked her why she didn’t tell me the price was 4$ different. She repeated they are out of new menus. Being that I didn’t have time to get nowhere with them. I told her the fajitas were horrible. But I don’t want a discount. I will.pay 12$ like I agreed too. But I will not being paying her new price. She agreed. But watch out. They food isn’t good and they do not warn you of the price change. Very unprofessional. Never going back.

Finally found some great Tex Mex in Waco. We had the huevos rancheros and they were great. Eggs cooked perfectly, beans were old school; so good. We really like the potatoes; soft on the inside crispy on the outside. Tortillas are handmade, homemade. We also had the aguas frescas; lemonade needed more lemon but it was good. My wife had the melon agua and it was great; lots of flavor. Our server was great. Fluent in English and Spanish. Highly recommend.

The place wasn’t hard to find. Difficult to park but that’s okay. The food is awesome. The food came out quick and the service was good. I had the pork chop and eggs and I loved how it was made how I wanted it. The service is fast for a quick bite im the morning.

Worse place to eat was treated very rudely. Had to get up to get my own straw. Will not be going back. Food was good bad service only because I’m not bi lingual.The food is good!!! The service on the other had is the absolute WORST!!! ALL the staff was rude. I know some dont speak English but….A smile is all some people need. The lady at the counter (older lady) acts like she’s owed something. Won’t be ordering from this place again. Renee’s has great food and a hell of alot friendlier staff.
