It was very busy with a hockey tournament, but they still provided great service! Cold beer and a good mac and cheese pizza! And winning $500 on pulltabs was a day maker! Friendly staff!

Our rock band “Lake Effect” has performed at the B&L 2 times now and both times were great. Always a huge crowd ready to party. Awesome people running the bar as well.

This place was awesome! Great service, good selection of drinks/beers. We were visiting for the weekend and it definitely felt like we were one of the locals. Fun atmosphere and the owner was amazing! He helped with recommendations for food in town and also offered a ride if we were unable to get an Uber. We will be back for sure!

This place is really cool! The bartender had a great personality and was extremely helpful. They have pizza and fried food. However, Lola’s across the street, which I highly recomend, serves breakfast. He went over there and grabbed a menu for us to call in an order to eat here!

My wife and I spent a few hours having beers at B and L. What a great experience!! We live in Wisconsin and the owner, Rick was very helpful, friendly and informative. He even gave us a safe ride to our hotel when we could not get an Uber. Thank you Rick!!!

The bartender made this place amazing! One person serving close to 50 people and she never missed a thing. Good atmosphere and a fun place to stop for a couple of beers as we were visiting town!

What wonderful place! We spent a day in New Ulm and stopped at B & L, the owner Rick was bartending and was such a nice guy! It was so much fun to hear about how invested he is in his community! We never drive when we drink and we were having trouble finding an Uber, Rick offered to give us a ride back to our hotel, he left the bar in the hands of the other bartenders and drove us to the hotel! We were so grateful and surprised to meet someone so kind!!!

Very busy and full of fun people on Fridays. Seems to be the go-to place in New Ulm. Lots of beers, friendly, helpful staff, rustic, good location, and lower than average prices. 6:30 to 8 is the busiest time.
