Came into oroville and decided on pizza. See my receipt as always.
I hadn’t tried this place because unfortunately there is alot of homeless hanging out next door. I decided to try it anyway with my friend.
I ordered the 1 topping pizza for inside dining. I really wanted the salad bar but it was not kept up well so I unfortunately passed on it.
They use small pepperoni on their pizzas. It was a bit bready but still ok. Nothing special. They also have beer and wine.
They do offer lunch specials and all you can eat pizza deals (limited hours).
The inside looked pretty clean and they also have a small game area for the kiddos.
It was a nice change to try a different place but won’t be back. They need to replenish the salad bar and keep it clean. They could also work on the employees being friendlier!

Stopped at Mountain Mike’s for a little birthday pizza with the family. The wife picked an extra large 20’ mountain size pizza with a variety of toppings. We also got the salad bar. We watched some football and played a few games. Enjoyed our evening.

We ordered our food around 5 and we were the only family in there besides ones that already had their food. We waited for an hour before they acknowledged us asking what did we order. They hadn’t even started our order. I said we had somewheres else to be and requested a refund the staff said it would only take 6 mins but we had already waited for an hour. I ordered a piece of delivered to my home. It was lousy. It was tasteless. It had no red sauce on it. The worst pizza I ever tasted. I suggest you go somewhere else.

This is the first 5 star review I have ever left for a pizza place. I worked in pizza for a few years and I have a very strict sense on what I considered good food.
I will say things were not completely perfect for our order. I did ask for Jalapenos on one of our 2 pizzas and did not receive them. We also had one pizza that was very heavily topped in the center and not very much towards the edges.
Despite a few set backs, considering that these are not professional chefs and just young adults still trying to find their ways in life, we were very impressed. The pizza’s themselves have a unique taste that we have never experienced on a pizza that was quite pleasing. There was a top layer of cheese, that most pizza places opt out of doing for a better appearance but not for a better product. Having all your toppings fall off is not ideal. Both pizzas had plenty of topping that were full of flavor and not plain tasting from cheap ingredients.
The price is not the greatest, but considering the actual taste and quality, it actual is really worth it. I tend to use big chains as a measuring stick for if a place is truly good or not. In this case, if I’m given the option of ordering Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Round Table or Mountain Mike’s, I wouldn’t even have to think on that. Unless the other options are free lol. But seriously, I am very pleased. My only sadness is the fact that we live roughly 12 hours away and will most likely not be eating Mountain Mike’s for quite awhile…

Me and my wife ate lunch today and I picked up the napkin holder and there were two cockroaches underneath it. I grabbed a napkin and killed the roaches and showed them to the guy behind the counter. He stated that they have been trying to get rid of them.
