Shared a wonderful meal with friends from Doylestown last night. The attention to detail is second to none. Starting with the warm bread to start with honey butter up until the final dessert — every course was stellar. The smoked brisket ravioli was a show stopper for me personally. It’s great to see a family working together and watching Matt, MJ & Liam working alongside each other was great! Our server Carl did a fantastic job as well. We are planning a return visit very soon!

I am eating here at the moment. The service is amazing. The food is delicious. The chefs are absolute rock stars. My wife and I ran out of red wine and they brought us some more out of the personal stash on the house. One of the chefs brought me out extra bison. Highly recommend. They are AMAZING.

We went for my birthday dinner mid-June. I had heard nothing but rave reviews from several friends. I am a cook, and admittedly difficult when I eat out.
First of all it was packed and extremely noisy. We had a very loud table next to us, unfortunately.
We did the tasting menu with wines for this special dinner.
I have to admit that the quality of the food was outstanding, with tremendous effort and attention to the food, but absolutely nothing that night wowed us.
I know that the menu changes regularly so it might have been just the selection that night, but not one dish had those really exciting flavors i look for when I eat out. The sauces lacked herbs or just that special punch. Everything was very good. Nothing was exceptional, except for the quality, but i cook that same quality local meats and fresh vegetables regularly at home.
The scone at the beginning was delightful, but I didn’t want to fill up on bread with this big dinner coming. The popcorn had almost no flavor. The bison was very tender. The fish was cooked perfectly but nothing had any special, memorable flavors.
The service was excellent. Everyone tried very hard but it unfortunately fell short for me.

My husband and I went here for our Anniversary. Our experience was incredible from start to finish. It is such a cute, quaint intimate place. Our service and food was impeccable by Matt, Breanna, MJ and Austin. Everything we had was spectacular not only the presentation but the freshness and the flavor of the ingredients was delicious. If you want a unique and amazing night out do not hesitate to go here!

Maize was incredible. Every course was delicious. Fine dining at its best.

Be prepared for a long meal. It takes time for quality to come out and it’s worth the wait. Bring some wine, it’s BYOB too!

The bison was my favorite dish. It was out of this world.

Food is excellent! Everything is super fresh. Some commenters say the food doesn’t have much flavor, but once you understand where the chef is coming from, the subtlety of the flavors is what makes the place different. In a very good way.

Our party of 4 was in a room upstairs, so we didn’t experience the noise issues others have mentioned.

I tried the 4 course menu a year ago and it was good. But left me wanting more. This time we did the 8 course for my wife’s birthday and it was wow (in a good way). We have eaten numerous tasting menus in the US, UK, and Canada and this was top 3 as far as memorable. The signed birthday card at the end was a nice touch.

Dessert was the most memorable part, As it should be, but each course (plus some bonus courses) were carefully orchestrated culinary art.

Service was prime with both the FOH and BOH explaining each course. You can see the kitchen from the dining room which adds a bit of a live show to the experience.

The only 2 critiques is that it does get loud, but hey, the place used to be a house. Also, the chairs could be more comfortable for a 3 hour experience. But overall, everything was wonderful.

It is certainly worth your next special occasion or if you are looking for a local culinary experience without the drive to Philly or NYC.

I made reservations for our anniversary and originally selected the 8 course tasting menu then switched to the 5 course. We had a wonderful meal and had plenty of food. The chef swapped a vegetarian entree for the meat for my wife and it was excellent. My only food complaint was the bland strawberries on the cookie platter when we are going into strawberry season locally. The 4 stars for atmosphere was the restaurant was very chilly, especially on a cool, rainy night.
And the cake on the dessert platter was possibly the best cake we’ve ever eaten.

My husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at Maize yesterday, and it was absolutely perfect! We had the 8-course meal, and every dish was exceptional – flavorful, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully curated.

The staff truly went above and beyond to make our night special. They were attentive, kind, and welcoming, and to our surprise, they gave us a handwritten anniversary card signed by the entire team. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more memorable.

Maize is a gem! If you’re looking for amazing food and top-notch service, this is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
