An interesting place, an interesting experience. The food was great, restaurant is run like a conveyor belt what is amazing in its own right. Thanks to that all with exception of the salad was fresh and flavoursome. Service as good as it can be in a place the size of a shoe box with people coming in and leaving every minute. Staff were friendly and talkative. It was a nice dinner and we would go back in again.

Really great food.
Nice and tasty. Know how to cook properly and care.

Not just dishing up hot brown curry sauce and giving it different names.

Great porcelain camel!

Food was good and it’s good when you can take your own drinks. They were crazy busy but service wasn’t too bad considering. Friendly but just very busy.

Excellent food and great service. A varied menu which was cooked perfectly. We both ate well and took a bottle of wine with us which we didn’t have to pay corkage on.

Genuinely good service and great food. We ordered too much and were nicely plump on leaving. Great place to go to next time we are in town.

We ordered a take away and maybe we were just unlucky as the majority of the reviews are good. Therefore we also decided to order here. The dishes were ok, but nothing more. I asked on the phone for their spiciest dish and it turned out to be not even a bit spicy. We were really looking forward to one non fish dish in this nice village. Expectations not met.

Spent weekend with some friends fishing and decided to try the local Bengali restaurant although I had some doubts. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and authentic flavours. Restaurant was very busy and staff very friendly and efficient. Ask for ‘Apna” style if you want something something more traditional with the caveat that it’s not hot. Enjoy.

Once given my order, I waited over 30 minutes, there was no spice at all. Never once was I asked how my food was. People coming in after me ordering a take out was served before me. NOT INTERESTED iN A WOMAN EATING On Her Own!!

We come here whenever we’re in Lyme Regis. The staff are friendly and the food is so good. Thoroughly recommend the pasanda which was creamy and fragrant.
