First time visiting this little gem of Sibley County Minnesota.
Located in Arlington, step through the door and walk into a slice of vintage Americana. Polished wood booth, leather bar stools at the breakfast counter and walls covered in Arlington history supporting the town’s High-School athletes past and present.
The staff are friendly and the food was actually close to perfect! We had eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns all made to order. The toast almost melted in my mouth, the eggs were exactly as I requested. My bacon was just right not too overcooked or under cooked and the hash browns were crisp and flavorful.
The history is appearant in the decor and vintage pie pans and radios, all giving a real sense of nostalgia for a golden time in American history when folks didn’t just stop in for a meal, they gathered together to visit, to decompress and be present in community. I highly recommend anyone going through Arlington, MN stop in for a cup of smooth flavorful coffee in a generously sized mug and a slab of Cherry pie and take a moment out of your busy life to step back and remember what truly makes America great.

Small hole in the wall pub. Some of the best service you can receive in the small town of Arlington. I requested a fried egg in their classic hamburger and it was cooked to perfection. If your passing thru town, stop by and grab a burger.

Burgers were great and juicy, but served on store-bought buns. That made the price seem a little high. The blueberry pie was incredible and definitely homemade!!!

The place was cute, but it’s not worth it. I feel bad for Arlington because it’s a small town and they don’t have a lot of places to go out to eat, and the food was kind of gross; the strawberry milkshake was just vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup, which was disgusting. Plus, how are you going to have no fries?

I am a service connected disabled veteran, I was denied service because of my service dog.

I walked in and right away I was met with, “no dogs allowed,” yelled from the back side of the restaurant. I said she is a service dog twice and so did my wife, the reaction from this person was, “I still can’t have dogs in here I will get shut down for health vilation”

From the mn department of state: In food establishments, service animals are allowed in areas that are open to customers. They are prohibited from areas used for food.

The owner should talk to a veterans group and get some insight on disabled veterans and service animals.
