I ordered my pizza on an extremely busy evening for them and they had accidentally forgotten one of the pizzas in my order however they gave me a formal apology, a free pizza, and a 22 ounce drink. When I came home from the Navy back in 1975 hungry Howie’s was downriver I believe at that time only. When I went into their pizza parlor I was in full dress uniform and the owner was unbelievable friendly plus he gave me a military discount of 10% I don’t go anywhere else but hungry Howie’s don’t worry about the kids that are taking your order they’re just young and overworked and underpaid I believe that but the food you get is perfect every time. Thank you so much hungry Howie’s for supporting US veterans it means a lot now because we’re old and sometimes we’re crabby also.

On November 23rd at about 2 pm I came in and placed an order. The younger one without the beard, saw me and did not acknowledge my presence for almost 10 minutes. The other, stayed in the back of house and kept eye contact with me and did not come to the counter to assist. Music blaring. The younger one finally came to help me, but was very impatient, If this is the kind of representation Hungry Howies presents to the public, go out of business!!!

I am sorry o had to take away stars ..but the last two times I had ordered the wings which r not cheap this is what they sold me the pics dont show u really how small they were ..but if I didn’t know any better I would say that’s not from real chickens but more like a pigeon wing that’s about the size of one anyways I put my daughters baby nipple next to one to give a scale for size comparison and it dwarfed the wing .not sure what’s going on with this situation before that I always loved the wings here they were big and juicy. If and when the wings go back to that I will fix my rating

I’m just a small town Ohio boy and I love little Caesars, but every time I make my way to Detroit, I always stop at this Hungry Howies. The crusts are amazing, the pepperonis are exotic, and the food is overall fantastic. I will continue going here every time!

We love the chicken bacon ranch subs, the Italian subs and BBQ chicken pizza as well as the cheesy bread. We recently tried the Chicken and Waffle Pizza. OMG this was the best pizza I’ve ever had. When I picked it up, the entire store smelled like maple. Nothing wrong with that. I hope you bring the price down and add this to the menu permanently. Best pizza ever!

Called in my order for the first time in forever (normally order online). I’m pretty sure I gave my order to a call center in the Philippines, it was reminiscent of my calls to xfinity tech support. Pizza is never ready on time and the staff seems poorly managed but everyone is friendly and I have never received a bad pizza so will be back for sure.
Lobby is lacking furniture, if the pizza is going to be late all the time a couple more benches might be a good idea. There is room and one is not enough.
