I heard that Ming Dynasty makes their dumplings in-house, which is what I have been looking for all over Greenville! I have been wanting to find a place that makes their own dumplings, because many of the places I have tried use frozen/mass produced dumplings. We placed our order online and got an order of meat dumplings, wonton soup, pork lo mein, chicken broccoli, and some egg rolls. We live a few minutes away so I drove over. I was very impressed by the atmosphere and dining room, and would love to dine in sometime! But, we did take out and really enjoyed it. The person at the host stand was very welcoming and kind. The prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and portions. The dumplings were amazing. I got them pan fried this time, but next time I’ll get them steamed. In my opinion, a good dumpling does not need dipping sauce. This one did not need dipping sauce! The egg roll was not my favorite but a different member of my household really liked them. They are thinner than I’m used to (picture I took is the egg roll being stretched in half). The wonton soup was nice. The broth was regular chicken broth, so I would have liked to see pork pieces and green onion/scallion, but the wontons themselves were large and flavorful. The pork lo mein was excellent and savory. The chicken and broccoli had a nice rich dark sauce, and the white rice was perfection! Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely back.

I have been going to eat at Ming Dynasty for greater than 30 years. I have always been greeted at the door with a smile & a very nice “hello”. I love the atmosphere! They have soft music in the background. The bar area has TVs where you can watch your favorite sport if you like. The food at Ming Dynasty beats any Chinese restaurant in Greenville or Kinston! My husband & I drive from the opposite side of Kinston to Greenville in order to eat there! The restaurant is spotless! No other restaurant can compare when it comes to how clean & neat the place is! The food is second to none! My favorite is their sesame chicken. They make their’s with a brown sauce. Their food is always fresh, never over breaded, & never overcooked! I guarantee you if you give them a try, you will agree with everything I have said about them & you will definitely be coming back for more!

I have LOVED Ming Dynasty for long time lol! The house rice was my favorite and right now I’m enjoying some shrimp fried rice! Best quality Chinese food I’ve ever had!

At first glance of the menu I thought the food was too expensive but when the food came out I was surprised to see the amount they give you. The food was amazing! Staff was attentive and kept tabs on us. Never tasted an egg roll like that either, it has some kind of cinnamon in it and it was delicious
