Had a great afternoon meal here! Everything was delicious. Was celebrating a birthday here and the staff were very accommodating and patient with us as we decided what to order. All the food we got was excellent – we ordered the onion dip and duck croquettes to start, my partner had the new duck item on the menu and she loved it. I had a custom smash burger and it was phenomenal! Definitely will be back!

This place was okay. The wine and beer were good. The mushroom scallops tasted rubbery and had a weird taste. We only ate one between us. Fried chicken sandwich was okay. It was kind of thin. Fries were good. Service was okay.

We visited Harvey’s on a busy evening, but despite the crowd, it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. The drink menu had a solid variety, and while many of the food options leaned toward the heavier side, the overall selection was diverse and appealing.
We started with the cornbread and deviled eggs, both were excellent appetizers that hit the spot. For the main course, I ordered the beer steak sandwich. The flavor was rich and satisfying, though a bit on the greasy side, which left the bottom bun soggy by the time I got halfway through. Others at the table ordered the salmon and the fish and chips, both were well-prepared and flavorful.
I wrapped up the meal with a cold draft PBR, which was a simple, classic finish to a solid dining experience. All in all, Harvey’s delivers a hearty, comfort-food style menu in a lively atmosphere. Worth a visit if you’re in the mood for a casual vibe.

I travel for work and sometimes I get to try some great food joints. I love the neighborhood vibe (see sign as you first walk in) along with the genuinely interested staff.
The Duck was great. Just my third time for duck and it was the best. If you have not had duck, I’d describe it as beef crossed with bacon. Doesn’t that sound great. It is.
The salad dressing, honey mustard vinaigrette was light and flavorful.
I busted my calories for the day it I would have been tempted to try the Honey Cake (while it lasts). That’s always a great sign.
I definitely want to come back and support this wonderful little restaurant. Thank you staff and Chef Emily Watt.

Harvey’s really wowed us all around! The food was all incredible and they have a clearly marked allergen menu online. We got the roasted artichoke appetizer which was SO flavorful I will happily return just for that! For dinner, the salmon entree, fusilli bolognese (made vegetarian with beyond, and can be made vegan!), mushroom “scallops” (fully vegan), kids hot dog and grilled cheese with fries. Everything was delicious. The service was fast and friendly, the drinks very well balanced. We are excited to return to this Falls Church gem!

We have so many great things to say about this place!! We were a party of 8 and each person absolutely loved their food. The calamari batter was so think and unique, I couldn’t stop eating it. I had the Roasted Duck Ragu Gnocchi, it was out of this world! Dessert was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. The best part of the night was our outstanding server Robin, he was one of the best servers we have ever had!!!!!!!! You will love this place ❤️

My daughter and I ate here recently and it was delicious! I had a ‘Dirty Bird’, an amazing combination of fried chicken, fried green tomato, pickles, and 2 sauces. Even though it was fried, it was not at all greasy and it was a good quality piece of chicken. My daughter enjoyed her Bloody Mary and breakfast sandwich. Servers were helpful, friendly and fast. I am looking forward to going back! A fun place with reasonable prices.

Both dinners I’ve had here have been average. Most recently my fusili bolognese was so small (one layer of pasta on a 6 inch dish) the guests I had brought were offering me food in sympathy. Apps also undersized. Get the pig plate if you actually want a real dinner.

Went to lunch on a weekday.
Atmosphere – 3
Normal and clean setting, nothing special.
Service – 5
Really nice and warm staff.
Food – 4
Shrimp scampi – first bite was full of butter taste. For me it’s too strong. The main character turned into butter from shrimps.
Banh-Sai – good taste! bread was a little dry though.
Dirty bird – interesting touch with the fried green tomato. Good fried chicken. Was given the wet napkin with lemon for hand cleaning up at the end. Very thoughtful and sweet service
Conclusion – it’s the kind of fusion place where I can’t tell the cuisine specialty from the menu. But good food is good food. Will come again for brunch and/or dinner.
